Moving GPS window (reset profile..How?)

Recommended Posts

[FIXED!!!]

Hi

My GPS is always centered on my screen, but on my friends client it's nicely on the side of the screen.

I am aware of a MOD doing the trick, but it's not the 'right' way to fix it since you cannot use the MOD on most online servers.

I'm not sure but maybe resetting my user profile 'could' help (just guessing)

So my question is How to move my GPS and/or how to reset my user profile.

Thanks in advance for nice answers, you are so sweet :)

HERE IS THE FIX:

Delete your "PLAYERNAME.vars.Arma3AlphaProfile"

At the moment, a mod (no caps, it's not an acronym) is the only way. Your user profile is unrelated to the matter of GPS placement.

Thanks Harzach.

But as i posted i cannot join most multiplayer servers with the mod. (i have tried) :(

Maybe someone else have a solution?

I repeat that my friends GPS is on the side, and he did a recent re-install of arma3. Thats what is leading me to think of the profile thingy.

I'll wait a couple of days to see if anyone have some more help, and if not then i'll try a re-install. hmmm!

BTW: Is your (the reader) GPS centered or at right side of screen?

Delete your "PLAYERNAME.vars.Arma3AlphaProfile", it will probably reset other game parameters like Virtual Ammobox System (VAS) templates.

What in the world ... I stand corrected. The GPS was centered for me from day 1, why does this change that? Was it overriding a fix in a past update or something?
