Hello everyone , This is the Pistol pack for ArmA 3

There's also ammo box for these weapons and Enjoy those weapons !!

(Under Empty > Ammo > RH Pistol Ammo Box)

INSTALLATION :

======================

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:

32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/

64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/

After extraction it should look like this:

Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@your_mod_folder_name

You can also use the "Arma 3 Alpha" folder in your "My Documents" folder.

You'll also need add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and

click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in -mod=@your_mod_folder_name

For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4

I`ve found only one really major thing in the first look at the pack, which is the red dot you can put on the FN pistol.

The sight appears not to be part of the correct LOD? The red dot also vanishes when pointing at a wall that´s too close (about 25 meters distance in the second picture.)

That's an impressive list. Thank you kindly for sharing your work.

I'm downloading as I write, but let me ask you already: I see you've added custom optic sight, and I was wondering if this type would also be used on small smgs, such as the mp7? I mean, in real life.

Facepalm to myself - i thought i removed that parallax version of that docter and it seems not , because of those erros - i will have to make a hot fix :/

Also to everyone thanks am glad you like this pack and almost forgot > please vote on this ticket http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=4774 its a bug which makes pistol shooting look weird

I can second this first link and just reproduced it, but I have no idea what's supposed to be going on in the second picture, though sometimes the amount of weapon bob/sway means that the red dot sometimes disappears 'behind' the front sight. I can however say that the first link problem only applies in first-person/not-aiming-down-the-sights view... in third-person view (using free-look to view the weapon from 3/4 rear view) I didn't see any such issue.

GvsE, it's not a "custom" red dot, it's a Docter sight, akin to (though not the same as) the red dot sight atop the ACOG in FHQ Accessories. In RH Pistol Pack for Arma 3 -- and in real life -- the particular pistol's slide is already 'adapted' to support installation of such a 'micro' red dot sight.

There however do exist mount adapters to use such a red dot sight on Picatinny rails, so it wouldn't be "unrealistic" in the sense of impossible to have such a sight atop a small SMG if it had a Picatinny rail or otherwise had an adapter/mount for the sight modeled. :)

The ammo box has disappeared and the FNP 45 classname isn't working:

The above results in getting "No entry 'bin\config.bin\CfgWeapons.rh_fnp45'".

Don't know whether you have seen my Biki article on the topic, but this error goes away if you put the named property "forcenotalpha" 1 on both the first LOD and the Geometry LOD of the sight. The thing with the Geometry LOD I only found out later since my first sight didn't have a Geometry :)

Yes , i have seen your page and did exactly by it but i forgot about Geometry lod and that caused the issue :)

The ammo box has disappeared and the FNP 45 classname isn't working:

The above results in getting "No entry 'bin\config.bin\CfgWeapons.rh_fnp45'".

A sec ago i tested it and no issue - please redownload the v1.01

Yes , i have seen your page and did exactly by it but i forgot about Geometry lod and that caused the issue :)

My bad, I only recently added the geometry part...

Anyway, glad you made the jump to Arma 3. Love those guns, especially the USP Match :)

New fixed version - v1.01

I hope the Docter works now , if the dot will still do some problem then i will switch it to old dot style

You just need to shorten the alpha tunnel on the red dot so it deosnt extend past the gun barrel, or as close as do it.
