Dedicated server number of players

In the cfg file or server .bat file what is command to set number of player slots on server ?

In the server.cfg file:

maxPlayers = xx;

But note that this does not affect the actual number of slots available in any given mission, which may be lower or higher. It simply limits the number of players that can be connected to the server.
