BF2_Trooper 0 Posted May 16, 2013 For some reason, my voice sounds like it's been sped up whenever I speak through the in-game VOIP. At least that's what one friend that I was playing with tells me, but no one else seems to say anything about my voice. Dunno if it's just him, or something on my end. BF2_Trooper 0 Posted May 16, 2013 Oh that's what that does? I thought it affected the game character's voice not your own, lol.
bad benson 1733 Posted May 18, 2013 Oh that's what that does? I thought it affected the game character's voice not your own, lol. i'm not entirely sure but i think you are right. this should only influence the pitch of radio chatter samples not your VOIP pitch. we would be hearing nothing but helium voices otherwise in MP;) i was gonna suggest you some testo shots and some whisky and cigarettes but then i remembered that VON can sometimes do that. i find people to sound much more high pitch on team speak than in game VOIP for example. i don't use those much though so maybe it's the other way around now.
