Im unsure that its been completely defeated in the global aspect, the Fasch symbolism is in many places to this very day, this is just a google search example, and can be found in many countries.

You may have to explain it a little better than that?

The fasces symbol is a symbol from ancient rome that was adopted by the USA 150 years before the 20th century personality cult of fascism existed. When looking at history you have to get your 'ducks in a row'. Mussolini then adopted it in 1932 because he saw himself as the heir to the Roman Empire. Didn't know about this confusion till I looked up what the tinfoil hat websites had to say on the issue. Will this jaw dropping foolishness ever end? LOL ;)

When did I even mention that it was? :) Im fully aware of the symbols and history before they were used (Hijacked) by such parties/occult types like Hitler. But the clue is in the fact that all roads lead to "Rome", or in this case temporal Power still in full effect today.

But ... I think that's not what this was about, and so it was a little reference to such symbols and the underlying links.

I'll show that respect the moment you cease celebrating a bunch of political extremists as the saviours of Europe despite plunging half of it into dictatorship, oppression and murder, and don't give a damn about paying any respect to the Western allies, without whom no European had seen democracy for several lifetimes.

If I posted anything that seems like I was not aware of that then sorry. All I was pointing out (cant speak for other posts) was that things may not have gone away which is a shame (and for those that gave their life too).

You posted pictures of the USA hinting it was a fascist state that displays fascist symbols? It's a common conspiracy theory is it not, that's why you hid it in a spoiler? You were then made aware of the the precise history of the use of the ancient Roman Symbol of the Fasces and how it was highjacked by the personality cult of Musolinni at a much later date.

Every thread that is posted to report interesting news items or pay respect to the dead is highjacked within 5 posts by either you or one of the other tinfoil hat squad with this nonsense. Don't know how you get away with it or why it is tollerated. Lets hope you get banned from this thread as well. I will not comment further.

If you don't, I'll spell it out for you: It's funny, because you started this thread with a picture celebrating an extreme political ideology. One that in the end of the day turned out to be a far bigger and worse threat to the continued existence of all of mankind than the Nazis. You didn't pick a picture celebrating the soldiers who weren't from that nation, nor did you pick one of Soviet soldiers; You picked one celebrating an extreme political ideology, not one representing those who defeated the Nazis. You picked the defeat of one extreme ideology to celebrate your own extreme political ideology.
