New Map Nevoeiro Alfa

This map is based on a true area located in northern Spain (Galicia). It has an area of 10x10 km with over 20 towns based on actual, with the entire network of major roads and secondary roads that exist in reality. Most of the map are rural but you can also find an industrial area and two populations of considerable size, a small base (which does not exist in reality) and a small airfield in the south, and still many more details Developing.

Hi Gunny!

Finally I have found a brake for share some screenshots with all of you!

First at all let me know you that 6.0.3 Version is now under (fire) testing and will see the light soon. The content on 6.0.3 will be revealed on the 6.0.3 SITREP as It has to be explained better in a context (There will be some stuff delayed due to a good cause ;) )

According to the Tiger, we are right now fixing some "weird" and "bored" tasks, like adjusting model animations, rvmat, lighting panel for night operations etc... But definitely after texture task It has a better look than before and now It looks like a TIGER (No, really... If I were in front of this Tiger I would be nervous), please note this is still on work in progress.

have to say I love the attention to detail that you all have put into my favorite is the LCM but im just a naval and aviation junky have you considered incorpertating the av-8b by chairborne into your mod pack I had noticed it was on your roadmap and chairbornes av-8b team has a amazing quality product with consistent improvments and updates and Kazimierz had made jaw dropping skins for the models

Hi Biohazard, thanks for your proposal however the AV8B harrier we will release in the following version its just a port from A2, we will reconsider re-do or colaborate with some other team when we start to work in ARMADA pack.

Sorry letting you uninformed but we are right now under hard-testing (the 6.0.3 has been tested 3 times for now so we are polishing some non-visible issues). On the other hand there is a surprise where an addon "ON SIGHT" in the Roadmap has been finished and we will pull it in the 6.0.3 version....

Stay tuned soon.

Hello,
It is our pleasure to bring you, again, a new version of the FFAA MOD, version 6.0.3.

After the "earthquake" the MANW contest caused and the two latest DLC launched by Bohemia Interactive, we had to implement various changes, aside from the developing and the new vehicles we've been developing and that many of you have seen on our videos or our social networks.
We have decided to launch this update to include finished content from the development version, since we're launching another update after this summer and from which we'll be revealing some details in the future, because what is coming after the summer is pretty "big", and we'd be delaying the release of this version too much. We know you're looking forward to the trucks and the BAM, but unfortunately there are still some tweaks that remain for us to launch them in this version.
Furthermore, we're finalizing the first compatibility addon of the FFAA MOD. This will be the compatibility addon for ASDG Joint Rails, which allows compatibility with weapons and sights from other mods, available soon in our downloads section.

With that said, let's take a look directly into the content of version 6.0.3. The most notable changes are:
- Transport helicopter AS532 Cougar -default and camo from the ET versions-, with advanced flight model and integrated rappel.
- Combat tank Leopardo 2E, which has been textured with 4K textures with realistic physics PhysX, among other details.
- Armoured Crawler Transport "Transporte Oruga Acorazado" (TOA) in four versions. TOA M113 armed with an M2, medical TOA M113 -with commander FFV capability-, TOA M113 for sappers -with semi-articulated bulldozer- and TOA M577 for Command (with drop-down tent).
- Combat helicopter EC-665 Tigre, available in three versions, featuring 70mm SNEB rockets, Spike LR missiles y Mistral missile. Textured on 4K resolution, including a guiding script for the Spike and with AFM.
- AV-8B Harrier, with vertical takeoff function and available in 3 versions -CAS, GBU and Multi-role-.
- Woodland and desert uniforms replaced with digital woodland and desert uniforms.
- Added the functionality #bipodz to all weapons that allow fixed bipods.

Minor changes:
- Correction of more than 30 errors reported in our feedback tracker.
- New camo meshes for the vehicles Leopardo 2E, VAMTAC and Pizarro.
- Visual improvements in the wheels of the vehicles RG31, Santana Anibal and VAMTAC.
- Rappel module activated when loading any compatible vehicle -in favour of editors, it's no longer necessary having the rappel module loaded in the mission, since it already activates when loading the vehicle-.
- New icon system in the weapon inventory.
- Added HUD for CH47 chinnok, new own tandem advanced flight model and added two seats for FFV functionality.
- Complete compatibility with Virtual Arsenal and Virtual Garage.

You can find the download links in FFAAMOD.ES

In addition, we want to make official our position regarding the uploading of our content to the Steam Workshop. We're waiting an agreement/official announcement from Bohemia Interactive and Valve regarding the Steam Workshop and thus, we adopt the same position of other big developers in this community, waiting a forceful response:

STEAM WORKSHOP
The FFAA MOD DOES NOT ACCEPT the Steam Workshop user agreement, specifically on sharing and giving the intellectual property rights of our content with/to Valve and their affiliates -Read section 2 and 6 of the EULA for further information-.
Please respect our license and position and DO NOT upload FFAA MOD content to the Steam Workshop, regardless of the reason.

If we make any change in our position, we will be the ones uploading our content, allowing taking advantage of the benefits and functionalities of the Steam Workshop.

Please, if you see any FFAA MOD content -in its entirety- in the Steam Workshop platform, help us reporting it in this thread, through our social networks or via email in order to take the necessary measures to protect our intellectual property rights.

Make any suggestion here and if you've found any error, report it in our feedback tracker. Finally we want let you know that revently we have detected some visual details issues on the Leopard 2E, we are aware of it and therefore you don't need to report it to our feedback tracker.

Regards,
The FFAA MOD team. Edited by ffaamod

Is there any chance we will ever see the Tiger as a standalone?

Sure it won't stop me downloading this great mod, but it'd be nice to have it as a standalone to use for Aussie Realism Clans

PS. Great work on the mod, Love it!

something look weired in the nose area of the tiger looks like the porpotions are not correct..

the MG42 modell suffers also from porpotion problems.

and can you please adjust the wepons on the tiger, so that the SNEB´s can be fired by the pilot? makes more sense gameplay wise because they are not guided

We will take a look on the nose of the Tiger, anyway it looks good even with that deformation! (Just kidding, we will take a look).

I will personally ask to a real Tiger pilot if IRL that procedure is real then we will leave the pilot to fire the SNED rockets.

Excellent mod for ARMA 3, Thanks FFAA... This mod is compatible with ACE3?

Compatible? Yes. Integrated with ACE3? No. This means you can play with the FFAAMOD with no errors but you will see that ACE3 have no effect over FFAA weapons or vehicles. For example, we have to make a especific configs telling arma 3 what's the barrel length with the ACE3 code ( ACE_barrelTwist and ACE_barrelLength ) and all the WHOLE functionalities ACE3 bring to the A3. We are trying to make the mod compatible with Joint Rails and TFAR (with custom radios) and in the future make the mod fully integrated with ACE3 but really, we are always under busy work and If any of you want to contribute to the FFAA MOD then you can help by making it fully integrated with ACE3.

Amazing work on the mod, guys!

A question: Are you gonna integrate a similar updater to RHS' variant? So that you launch a script, it checks for updated files in the designated directories, and downloads new content automatically.

We, in the past, thought about it and in the first version we almost release with the mod a launcher/updater but finally that project was take down. We had hopes that steam workshop will bring us a "fully working" updater for mods but finally we have decided to not put it in steam workshop... What's now? well, It's true that our releases have an average period of 6 month so it's not a "real" problem at all but in the future it's interesting have some plans about it.

Guys, can you get some of the soldiers to use the F2000, Spain uses it

Yes but not in the units we have right now in the mod (BRILAT, MOE or FAMET).

Is there any chance we will ever see the Tiger as a standalone?

Answered in armaholic forums :)

Thanks all you guys, this is being done with the maximum love for you and this is all we have by the return, your support and happiness enjoying the mod.

hey, thanks for looking into it.

i dont know what it is exactly maybe the nose is a bit to long....if i remember correctly the "deformations" wasnt present in the Arma 2 version

and yes it is good with the deformation :-D but after you have seen it you can unsee it :-D

and hell of a lot of bous points for doing the correct helmet for the tiger crew. :-D

This go to moderators/admins only as I can't get answer from some of them via PM (No worries, I don't check PM very often ):

Is it possible merge this and this threads? (The first thread should be the first post of the main thread and you can delete as well the first post published by tisor of the second thread).

This is due to the left of the author of the thread from the FFAA MOD team, we decided to create a user to manage all the FFAA MOD related thread. Tisor own the second thread and is fully agreed to do that (if you aren't secure then ask them for the merge.)

The same happens to the release thread, in this case you only need to delete the old whole thread (As it has only 3 answers) and we have created a new for that. (We want to delete this whole thread)

Also if you have done that then delete my own post from here.

Thanks in advance,

Greetings.
