almostJDM 10 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Ok so when I start the game either arma2 or OA, all but 2 of the boxes get checked, then the screen will go black like normal, then it drops back to my desktop, now when it does this I still have the game sound, but now I have the games mouse cursor also, I cannot click on anything until I ALT+TAB, but it only does this in full screen, if I am in windowed mode it runs just fine, but playing on half the monitor sucks, so I thought some of the games data might have been corrupt so I re-verified the data through steam, and it had to re-download a file that was less then a MB, I then tried running it again and no go, so I completely wiped the game off the computer, even registry files, then re-installed the game but on a different Hard drive, and still no go, so then I thought it may have something to do with the latest video card driver, or it might have been a bad driver, so I uninstalled the driver for both my video cards, and re-installed them, so I tried updating the game, and it wont let me install the latest patch or any patch for that matter, when the first blue bar loads an error pops up saying, "wrong CD-Key", so I re-verified on steam again, and tried the patch once more but no dice, just checks all but the last 2 boxes, then black screen, and drops to desktop with the games sound and mouse.
