ArmA Gold Steam Graphics problems

Oki, I absolutely despise forums, but this seems to be my last resort.

I don't have a gaming computer, Just some shite Macbook pro with 2.4 GHz an Intel HD 3000 Graphics card and 4 GB ram with a resolution of 1280x800.

I bought ArmA gold on Steam a while ago and every time i start it the picture quality for the ArmA Banner and such are so pixelated it's really difficult to see what it says but not impossible, then when i get the menu the buttons are blank, the text pixelated and the framerate terrible.

I found this odd because i could run ArmA 2 on mid-low settings perfectly fine.

I know this problem is frequent and such but I've had no such luck with any of the solutions I've read.

Maybe you have a problem with directx. this never happened to me.

Try reinstalling direvtx.

Don't think so, My DirectX is up to date and working perfectly.
