Maio 293 Posted April 12, 2013 I try. But what I don't do is spend $92 on a game to get my name in the credits Some people might have spent those 92$ because the package included all future DLC as well as their completely platonic eLOVE for BI. Individuals such as these still roam the many pipes of the internet.

Individuals such as these still roam the many pipes of the internet.Ehhh, the other thing is that in addition to "any future Arma 3 DLC (but not standalone expansions or sequels)"*, the forums badge and the Digital Deluxe extras, the Supporter Edition also includes Arma X: Anniversary Edition (so OFP: CWC/Arma: CWA, Arma Gold, and everything Arma 2 except the ACR DLC) plus an additional, separate copy of CWA.* Amusingly, this is less concrete than an arcade shooter's DLC season pass, those are actually guaranteed. :p
ProfTournesol 956 Posted April 13, 2013 I try. But what I don't do is spend $92 on a game to get my name in the credits Well, i did buy this to support BIS, not more not less.
viper[cww] 14 Posted April 13, 2013 I try. But what I don't do is spend $92 on a game to get my name in the credits Lmao.... Some people might have spent those 92$ because the package included all future DLC as well as their completely platonic eLOVE for BI. Individuals such as these still roam the many pipes of the internet. This was a major factor in my decision to not go for supporters edition, as well as owning all the previous titles as well (who needs or wants two copies of everything). I like to have a choice on what DLC I purchase, and for the extra $ it cost for supporters there would have to be 4-7 DLC's to make the purchase worth it (priced at roughly $7 each for 7 DLC's), if that's the only reason you bought it. chortles 263 Posted April 13, 2013 Therein lies the problem in buying the Supporter Edition "for itself", so to speak... out of that $92, Arma X is about $50 of that and Arma 3 (bought at alpha) is $33 of that, so that's basically $83 out of the $92 right there. Makes sense if you want to gift Arma X to someone and then CWA to someone else or keep for oneself, but otherwise... not really.
papanowel 120 Posted April 13, 2013 Well, i did buy this to support BIS, not more not less. Same here, I don't understand why people are judging others about it...
piesy001 0 Posted April 13, 2013 Agreed - needs to be kept in a bit of context. In Australia it will cost me over $100 dollars just to go snow boarding for ONE day. Most AAA or even A game titles are almost $100 bucks over here and most only last for a month if that. $92 will keep me going for months if not years. Stop babbling about the cost others decide to pay....
ezlyconfuzed 1 Posted April 14, 2013 Your account username and password did not match, or you were not amongst the first to buy the Arma 3 Supporter Edition. i have tried multiple times and am still getting the same error as it seems others have also got :j:

yhant 10 Posted April 15, 2013 I regret not within 500+2000 Because I did not receive e-mail I hope I can get the mail
izt_is 0 Posted April 16, 2013 I haven't gotten the e-mail yet. Does this mean I'm not in the 2500? I logged in first thing when the countdown ended but you guys know what happened with the store....8 hours of refreshing later, I manged to buy the supporter edition. I don't want to sound like a spoiled sport, I know the supporter edition includes tons of other things but still...feels like a kick in the balls for me especially since I've bought every piece of Bohemia Software since OpFlash. So no luck then?
=silver= 0 Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) I've bought the game 6th of March. Was it too late?.. Noooo....:butbut: ;) P.S. Good side - I have two copies of every OpF/Arma titles and DLCs now - one is non-Steam and a Steam's one too :) Edited April 16, 2013 by =SilveR=

If you take in account all the supporter edition benefits, and the fact that we will get a couple hundred hours of game play at least, it's a steal.
chortles 263 Posted April 17, 2013 If you take in account all the supporter edition benefits, and the fact that we will get a couple hundred hours of game play at least, it's a steal. The problem though is that you already get said couple hundreds of hours of gameplay just from the basic paid alpha/beta/full game of Arma 3, unless you mean intending an Arma 2/OA reference. thewookie 10 Posted April 22, 2013 Anyone know if there is a cut off date? It lets you put in a message and I have to clue what to put just buying time thinking about it.
