btw as you speak of MP statistics?

are they planing to make ANY kind of improvements for pvp MP with the marksman DLC or will they include some nonsense gamemode like that bot-taxi thing from the Heli DLC that hasnt had any impact anway?

The bot-taxiing thing was quite good, but they locked it down WAY too much for it to be much more than a temporary diversion.

Not sure if this is just me, but in Stable, the command damage/getDammage are returning 0 for a vehicle that has damaged tires. I'd consider this a bug as damaged tires should equal a damage value on the vehicle object.

Can somebody else confirm.

Gentlemen, this bug http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=21906#bugnotes really REALLY needs a fix ASAP. The medic will, on a regular basis, lose all his abilities, or the ability to enter a vehicle, open a door, pick up stuff from the ground, because of this issue. Needless to say, this can completely ruin a mission.

That and the (can't get in the heli bug) are both really making plaing Invade n annex a pain in the a bomb right now.. as far as I'm aware both came with heli dlc.

Side note just in case you didn't know al,shooting the bugged medic and revive from a working medic is a workaround. Albeit not ideal at all.

Arma 3 won't boot after todays update.

I've tried verifying files

Steam in online and offline mode

I've tried from the Steam library page and by .bat

"Have you tried switching it off and then back on again?" Yes

Other games boot okay

Steam client is up to date

I launch it then the mouse cursor does the spinny thing and then nothing.

Arma3server.exe will still load though

EDIT: Also tried launching by launcher and no mods are loaded.

EDIT II: Back on stable now which loads ok.

Dev-Branch works for me without problems.

Same here - no build *.rpt, no start game. Launching by launcher, error message: MS Visual++ 2013 (x86) failure. I use Win 7x 64.

This is killing us too at the moment. We don't use respawn in missions so once the medics break we're fucked.

Fixed: RoadsLib.cfg was not changing roads after a change of landscape

Fixed: Local WRP & road shapes don't work together

that's nice and makes a lot of sense. only thing is i cannot hear breathing even when zoomed in.

Edit. And zoom to optics and hold breath are mapped to different keys. But good question.

Do you by any chance have the Hold Breath mapped on the same key as Zoom In?

ive read in the todays SITREP that you guys are working on Performance.

my question is: is this only multiplayer related or do we SP players profit from the performance updates too ? means more FPS @ larger battles & more AI in SP ?

Well they've worked a lot on those "performance binary" servers so i bet it's mainly about MP.

Added: Strider commander is able to use a blue pill on his turret (controls are not set yet)

Haha! Took me a while before I understood what that meant. That sentence should probably not be published in the final changelog. :)
