Hi there, please let me present this new mod ArmA 3.

What exactly is GLT Mod?
The GLT Mod is a compilation of missions and addons created and designed by the German Liberation Taskforce. The GLT itself is a fictional german armed forces bases faction of the 2030s which is taking part in the war for Stratis and Altis.

The new ArmA 3 patch changed the classnames of the Ifrits! I've fixed the "issue" in my missions and uploaded everything again. Please use the download link in the 1st post to get the latest files.

Nope, not in this mod. At least not right now. Sorry. However MAD SIN will start to create its own revive feature so maybe there will be the possibility to "die" after getting badly shot. If this is possible I'll open it up as a mission parameter so everyone can decide for themselves.

Played meet the Spartans last night with four friends. Great little mission, very well thought out and scripted. Had tons of fun!

Hey, why does "glt_editor_cleanup.pbo" rename Stratis to Agios Efstratios ??? Is there a reason for this or...

All missions have been made playable for singleplayer due to small code changes! Those missions also have a small fancy video intro (check video below). As for the Ghillie units - the modell and textures were included in the ArmA 3 Alpha files. I only created the config file.

Thank you very much! My next goal will be to apply useful mission parameters so you can choose the environment settings. And of course: new units, new items, new missions :D Though next release might take a while. I need to create something new first.

Got through all five missions with my squad and we had a blast!!

Gotta say though, the final two missions were a little lacking when compared to the first three. Overall though we had a really great time. Thanks for the missions. Look forward to another update if there is one coming.

Hi thank you for your feedback! I agree, the last two are designed to be quickies. I hope to upload the next update very soon including lots of fixes, new items and units and one new (bigger) mission (diver + ghillies).

Nope ;) But I will include some of the funny items as easter eggs in future updates. Also I will integrate the virtual ammobox so the player can choose at least parts of the custom layout.

Edit:

I just noticed that with the AH-9 air support in GLT 01: Meet the Spartans is not working anymore. Most likely because setVehicleInit has been removed with patch 0.58.

Played GLT6 last night with our group. Played really well, couple suggestions though.

Remove VAS; the issue being VAS carries load-outs between scenarios... so I had guys in my squad load up their other VAS profiles only to find out we need our rebreather later for the mines. Luckly, one of my guys had a "scuba" loadout in VAS so he was able to hand out rebreathers. Yes, they should have read the tasks ahead of time, but most of them weren't really paying attention -- so most of my squad mates lost their wetsuits + rebreathers so only a handful of us could actually make it to the final two objectives, while the rest of them had to focus on Kil Farm.

All of the mines were marked as "deactivated", but the task wasn't actually completing... so we took the boat and drove it through the minefield... sure enough we found the mines that weren't actually deactivated and the task completed. Dunno if this is a mission issue or a B.I. issue.

Also, perhaps it might be a good idea to remove the RPG from the ammo crates... I realize you have an Ifirit out at Kil Farm, but some of guys used the RPG to take out the "snipers with MGs" from the beach landing, shot a little high, blew up the 2 story building and killed the officer. Hell... by the time we were at the beach we were already half way done the mission :P Perhaps just give some undersling GL for the Ifirit... shouldn't need an RPG for just one Ifirit.
