Duke_of_Ray 0 Posted July 18, 2002 My favorite Guitar is either Ovation or Martin, but all I have is a 1960's Epiphone which is actually a cool guitar. My favorite song would have to be The Ballad of Hollis Brown by Bob Dylan.

Placebo 28 Posted July 18, 2002 I don't play guitar but if I did I'd want a Gibson Les Paul, fave song is impossible to say but I'll go with a Hendrix for now, Angel, far too many great songs and specifically great songs by Hendrix but that'll do
Ruud van Nistelrooy 0 Posted July 18, 2002 imho the best guitarists (and musicians in general) are of the death metal kind, it takes a special kind of man to play at that speed and volume for so long while still maintaining top quality music. Pat O'Brian and Jack Owen from Cannibal Corpse are two of my favorite guitarists. There are loads of amazing cannibal corpse songs where the guitar work is top notch, i couldn't really name an individual song. If i could have a guitar i'd having a flying v probably

Tovarish 0 Posted July 18, 2002 Don't know anything about guitars, but my fave guitarist - Tom Morello, RATM. He could be playing hard rock on it one second, and the next, you'd swear it was a DJ's turntable you were listening to. Amazing. My fave song by them is Bullet In The Head. Starts off as pure hip-hop and ends as pure punk.

Cloney 0 Posted July 18, 2002 I've Got 4 Guitars: Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (Dad's) Fender '50s Telecaster: (Dad's) Fender Stratocaster: (Mine) Fender 1963 Mustang: (Mine) I love them all except for the Gibson. The neck it way too big (Thick). My Personal favorite is the Strat, Followed closely by the Mustang. Though the Mustang is a bit dated.

I've played guitar for ~7 years now, and I have had several guitars along the way. My first own guitar was an Ibanez, I still regret that I sold it. I like my current guitar, Gibson Les Paul very much, although some people think Les Paul is a cliché. I have some sort of "cliché" setup apart from Les Paul, too: Marshall JCM 800 2210 100W all-tube head, and Marshall 1960A 4x12'' cabinet, 300W. I have many favourite guitar players, but maybe I appreciate Adam Jones of Tool the most. My all-time favourite song would be Led Zeppelin's "Babe, I'm gonna leave you"
R. Gerschwarzenge 0 Posted July 19, 2002 It's hard to say what is the best guitar. It depends what kind of music I want to play. And I am a bass player so I know more about basses than guitars . It's hard to decide about the best song too. But one of the best is Evidence by Faith No More. I have this funny solo project I've been working with. It has acoustic guitar (this project does not contain horrible Ricky Martin/latino/ear-sucking-in-front-of-the-fireplace style guitar playing; this rocks even if I say it myself ), hardcore techno, drum'n'bass, jungle and lots of other stuff. Maybe I'll post a sound sample here some day.

Or maybe the lunch break caused my brain to enter some kind of "Safe Mode".. I saw THCKitin first time in 1996 or so. They weren't supposed to play that night, but they came to the stage and played one song, and then said that "[enter band-name here] has cancelled, go home". Then singer spat(or spitted? no) at the audience, and when someone spat back, he started complaining: "Hey! Don't do that! I have a new leather jacket!" They have been hilarious since the beginning.. Tehosekoitin is "internationally known" as "Screaming Stukas".
