Fireplace - burning: How to?

Recommended Posts

Brief question:

There are two sorts of Fireplace available in the editor. "fireplace" and "fireplace - burning". But actually non of them is burning when placed in the editor and checked out with preview.

So - is there a specific command (likely the one which is triggered by the "light fire" action) to enable a burning campfire?

Btw, thanks Gunter, i tried to make it work all the day and it was so simple!

How do you know what to put on the init? There's some kind of guide or what?

This command is in use since 2001 as the first game appeared. If you search here for "campfire" you will probably find 100s of such threads. And yes, most of the stuff that works in Arma and Arma 2 also works in Arma 3. So it doesn't hurt to check the editing forums for these games as well. ;-)

I normally use this for commands:

But as Wolle mentioned its been used since the beginning of the series.

Trust me I tried, but everytime i was searching about campfire i couldn't find anything, only stuff about particle effects, but i searched for an entire day, maybe i didn't use the right keyword because english it's not my language, sorry!
