Nogovan Armed Forces [WIP]

Hi all,

I thought i would go and create a Work in progress thread of some of my upcoming addons for Arma3. Currently i have some weapons which im bring over to Arma3 from Arma2, which might be in the future part of a Nogovan Armed Forces Mod for Arma3.

The weapons i am bringing over are my Ak2 weapon pack, which is based of the G3 Battle Rifle, i also plan to include HK32 Variants. With weapon attachments in Arma3 it in means i have to create less versions, as in Arma2 i had 33 different models for the weapon pack. For Arma3 i will only need 6. :)

I also plan to include Custom Sights including Mars Sights, ELCAN Spectre DR, VIPIR 2+ TWS and MaxiKite CWS.

Looking good :) Just my two cents ( :p ) I would change the hand guard so the rail system is on it, I know vilas has one...think it's ak4..think it's that not sure, But also shorten the length and add an adjustable stock :)

Thanks for everyone's kind words its much appreciated, here are some other WIP screenshots. Animations still need to be corrected on these, as well as fixing the sights so they fold down correctly and also the fire selector needs to be animated. But they are looking good so far :)

Thanks, with regards to the hand guard i will look at that for the standard AK2 model.

Also to complement the Ak2 (G3s), i will look at creating an HK21

Loving what I see so far, especially the green handguard and stock in the first screenshot. And thank you for considering adding in the HK21, that and the HK21e are the two MGs I've always wanted to see in arma :D

One issue I had with the arma 2 G3 and mp5 mods was the tiny aperture in the iron sights. Since arma 3 now supports adjustable irons, do you think you could animate the 100, 200, 300, 400 ranges to corresponding rotations of the drum, with 100 being the iron sights? The animation source for it would be zeroing1 (just "zeroing" didn't work for my own mod), corresponding to the value in the zeroing ranges array.

Your welcome, we had an HK21 in OFP. But i haven't seen one in Arma or Arma2, hopefully one in Arma3 will make up for that.

I can certainly look at seeing if thats possible to do that with iron sights. Im hoping to get back into working on the pack as i find time, im also looking at getting some FnFals in game also :)

There was no HK21 in the Arma series from what I know, but there is a HK23 for Arma by Skaven.

Apologies for not releasing any updates in awhile, ive been quite busy of late. Just in process of buying a house, so lots to sort at the moment. But in the near future i do hope to release this Battle Rifle Pack :)

It's possible with the MX 3GL's grenade launcher, at least, to have the model itself or at least part of it adjust according to the zero.
