Update
Once again it's time for another update from us in GoL! We've played at least 50+ missions during our week-day missions and 4 Major Campaigns which included 22 missions, to say the least the clan is still very much active and is still enjoying the fruits of Arma 3.

Currently we're going through the summer season with smaller missions and for that reason we have delayed our new campaign with a few weeks to enjoy a few standalone missions with special mods. Our coming weeks will involve the use of the Operation Trebuchet mod for HALO Warfare! A nice chance of pace for our missions that will challenge us in ways Arma 3 have yet done before with some futuristic weapons and vehicles.

Another bit of news is that our group have now installed a new Teamspeak 3 server changes have been made to free up performance on our newly added Dedicated Server. A lot of changes have been made throughout the clans use of mods and templates with the goal of increasing overall performance in large battles.

To round up this report I will just say our year has been fantastic and we are all looking forward to future mods and DLCs throughout the end of the year, and I hope I will see some new faces during the next 6 months of 2015! Cheers.

Armored Warfare
I wanted to show you a bit of what we actually do during the week when our Major operations aren't played. We stick to playing every Monday & Friday and the missions are entirely optional and since we have so many missions every week we get to enjoy quite a lot of varied types of gameplay.

This for example is a Tank / IFV mission which is entirely out of the blue for GoL with us being mainly Light Infantry. This means that even though our focus during our main missions will always be infantry supported by aviation, we manage to get a few random missions enjoying all elements of Arma 3! Enjoy!

Update
Hello! Another update from us at Guerrillas of Liberation, we've undergone some changes the past 3 months that involve our servers and website. We have refurnished our Website and added Screenshots and different themes. We've also upgraded our Teamspeak and Game servers to increase the performance, it's working out very well for us on the technical side with many new improvements.

The Platoon itself have undergone a few changes including leadership shifts for our Second Squad, we've also started work on improving recruit tutorials for new players that need extra help in getting familiar with how we play the game. We've had quite a lot of good missions throughout these three months that have passed since last, undergoing the current campaign called "True Green".

Intense Ambush in Pakistan
Here's another video from Guerrillas of liberation, here 1st Squad plays a Tuesday mission and gets ambushed on a pretty spot in Pakistan. The mission was intense as per usual, quite a lot of enemies and challenges! I believe this gives a short preview of what is to come in the end of 2015!

Update
Hello! A slightly premature update for the end of 2015. Sadly I will not be able to write another post until next year so we'll get Christmas started early right now!

Let's start with the technical changes we went through not long ago, basically we've improved our performance of the server and headless client meaning we get better frames and better gameplay out of the simple AI we're put up against! This new Linux server had its fair bit of problems at the start but however after a month now we've been able to stabilize it and it's now working without issue!

The Platoon have once more gone through some changes, with a lot of older members returning to the group, we've upped the size of the Army Aircorps (Pilots) to 6 players from our previous 3 meaning we'll have an FAC / Radio Operator for them at all times, this will hopefully lead to some great improvements for gameplay for both the ground and air forces.

New campaign undergoing! In November we finished the previous campaign Operation True Green and also started the new campaign Operation Herrick, where we make use of the beautiful equipment from the 3CB British forces mods, it's currently under progress and will be over before the end of the year.

Can't say much else before new year, 2015 has been great for GOL. We've gone through lots of improvements with our group and it can only get better and better jumping into 2016! I believe that's all I have to report for the end of 2015, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

3PARA Jackal Assault - Operation Herrick I
Here's the first video from our current campaign Operation Herrick I from my perspective as Squad leader in 1-1A. We basically push through a convoy of Jackals taking a tonne of fire from the Taliban hiding in the mountains, Enjoy! Hopefully it should give you some perspective on our major operation gameplay!

408  days since last update

Update
It's been more than a year since our last update on these forums, here's an update on what GOL has done for the past 408 days. We have undergone 7 completely unique campaigns and side missions featuring 13+ different factions: (Soviet Army 1944,Chinese Special Forces,USMC 1968,Takistani Army,Modern USMC,101st Airborne,Swedish Defence Force,German KSK,Chernarus Special Forces,NATO,Takistani Special Forces, Israeli Special Forces, CSAT, British Army and more). These campaigns have brought us 46 Major operation's the past year with 102 Training's & Side-missions. Last year brought us 148+ totally unique missions, missions that were never replayed. If anyone is looking for variety in missions, GOL is the group for you!

On a technical note, we have installed a new framework that improves the FPS in intense missions with a lot of AI units, we have also installed a new server to further stabilize the server which has been great. Our clan never stops trying to improve, anything from team tactics to website management, we always seek to improve! If you wish to join such a group then go ahead and apply on our site! =]

Operation Ravens Claw, Operation Wasa, Operation Tanoa Serpent, Operation Jupiter, Su Kien Tet Mau Than, Operation China & Operation Red Star were all created by members of the group, using a custom framework created by our awesome programmers. Our clan still wants to play with more people and are still looking for eager players to join a tight community who only plays the best of member designed missions, so if you are looking for a group based in Europe, take a look at our website and sign up! There's no one we can't teach, we've shaped more than a handful of young adults and old men, the only thing that is required from our members is that they attend as many missions as possible and be part of the team!

We shall attempt to update you more in the future, semi-monthly updates about our improvements, changes and gameplay! Join now to participate!

Operation Tora Tora Tora!
Here's a clip of some Insane close quarters firefight we got into during one of our 52 Training missions last year. We insert via little-birds into a custom-designed compound with claustrophobic action at every turn, it was a fine example of a great training mission that was intense, difficult and rewarding for the Squad. We now field two squads during the same training exercises / missions to get double the players and double the fun in our weekly missions!

Update
Right it's time for another update from the Guerrillas of Liberation! I am proud to announce that we have totally reworked our thread here on the BI Forums, now it helps everyone understand what our group is all about. More information regarding our gameplan and our sessions and much more can now be found right here on the forums! In other news; we have agreed to play a merged operation with the Czech 102nd, this will take place on the 25th of February 2017 and will be our first joint-coop game of the year! We played a mission with the 102nd a while back and it was awesome, and now, once again we prepare to smash the virtual enemies as a joint effort!

Last but not least, we have just finished the Operation Iraqi Freedom campaign, this was our custom campaign set in Iraq 2003 and was created by our own editors; Oksman and Filthy. The campaign brought the group a lot of new challenges as we branched out to play as a mechanized infantry platoon. A very important thing for us is to maintain variety in our gameplay, and switching to mechanized infantry was just one of those things! Our clan is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get! Amphibious, Naval or Armored? What's next? Who knows?! :]

Operation Wasa
Here's a video I thought I'd highlight! We play as the Swedish Defense Force on a Finnish terrain against the Russian onslaught! Lots of tracer fire, lots of air support and lots of death and destruction! A good taste of what playing with the Guerrillas of liberation is like!

Had a pretty busy summer over in GOL....

Our spec ops game play is now in full swing and we have recently had operations ranging from conventional spec ops, destroying infrastructure behind enemy lines, to a full on stealth mission with scripted alert and response system. With summer out of the way we are now looking forward to our next proper campaign which will stretch over 4 consecutive weeks of connected missions that tell the overall story. Our in house editing team is always pushing the boundaries of what we can do with our customised mission framework and in house mods and this next instalment promises to be epic even by our standards as the whole editing team comes together for the first time rather than our usual pairs.

Our in house modding team have ended the summer with the anticipated release of the RHS Enhancement Pack:

We are always on the lookout for new players. From ARMA newbies to old veterans we have a place for all in our infantry squads or our dedicated Army Air Corps. If you're interested in serious gaming in a laid back setting then this is the place for you. Our operations are Saturdays at 1900 GMT/BST with training nights on Tuesdays (infantry) and Fridays (air crews) at the same time.
