Hey Nou I'm curious, do you have multiple ArmA copies running to allow you to test or is there something else going on?

I have two copies. One on my main desktop, another on my Macbook Pro under Bootcamp. It'd be impossible to develop otherwise!

So I have partially implemented (the hard part, yay) a feature that I am pretty sure exists in no other voice client in any other game out there...

Here is a hint.

Encryption? And that is what it sounds like without the right info entered?

+1 for this

That's not how it sounds in real life though, at least not with any type of military encryption I have used from 2007 through 2010.

So you'll hear bullshit as soon as you try to overhear the enemy radio when not having a variable defined that makes you know their "language"?

Not only radio (though they sorta sound like robotos).

NouberNou, will you hear gunfire and other ambient noise through the radio?

This would be the BEST feature I could imagine...

Like the default Arma radio sounds that you hear in the vehicles sometimes. There is also some shooting and it sounds very authentic.

We are gonna be able to barbecue the goat? hahaha

Mybe that radio sound from vehicles will be possible to do? so anyone who is around vehicle with no doors can hear transmitions?

Another feature already present in ACRE1 as part of the vehicle racks.

While I doubt it will be in the initial release candidate, I expect it will make an appearance in a later version.

Wow, I was just thinking about how a function like this would make pvp so much better, and here you are making it a reality. Outstanding!

Sadly this is a technical limitation of Teamspeak, in that local sounds on the radio from that position would have to come across Teamspeaks voice stream from that person, which would be going to everyone, including the people around them that wouldn't be hearing them on the radio, so they'd hear gunfire noises and stuff coming from the mouth of the person talking on the radio. It'd just be confusing.
