antoineflemming 14 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) want me to just take a picture of the pattern? Needs to be large and seamless if you do So here's the deal: I don't have the screenshots just yet (want to get the mc pattern down before I post more screens) But I'm going to roll the DAE addon (Direct Action Element) into an overall NATO mod that includes and will include US Delta Force, SEALs, 5th SFG, Polish GROM, German KSK, British SAS, and the Italian Il Nono (9th Parachute Assault Regiment "the Ninth"). I'm also working on a Takistani Armed Forces mod (the other mod I mentioned). So, really, I need a good, seamless AridFleck pattern (look it up, it's Flecktarn with Multicam-like colors) and a large, seamless UK MTP pattern (very hard to find). I should have some pictures for you by tomorrow. Hopefully will have an alpha release this weekend. For the time being, it's just a clothing addon. The actual units will come after I've got the clothing down. When they are released, you can view the clothing using Dslyecxi's Gear Menu mission and script. chortles 263 Posted March 21, 2013 Why not maintain a separate addon for compatibility/dependency's sake?

antoineflemming 14 Posted March 21, 2013 Just uniform and vest reskins at the moment. I'd like to see if the community puts out any gear for these nations. I'm no model maker. I'm good at textures though.

This is very interesting :) But regarding models i think there won't be many, you need to make the gear follow the main uniform so it wont go inside of the uniform when playing with it, so it will be alot of testing when making gear for the normal uniform since they havn't released that as a sample. fluttershy 2 Posted March 21, 2013 Hmmm i think i can try and get my hands on aridFleck for you. But i am sure seamless won't be an option i can deliver. Still interisted?

antoineflemming 14 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) Check out some screenshots below (imageshack album). Screens aren't the best, but they illustrate the point. Multiple nationalities, all with some kind of arid version of their camo pattern. Pretty much their own multi-terrain pattern. http://imageshack.us/g/1/10071061/ I will release a closed alpha version for some individuals to test and then, once I've made any corrections, I'll release the beta version. Why not maintain a separate addon for compatibility/dependency's sake? Huh? I mean, it'll be an addon with my stuff in it, it's just Dslyecxi's nifty gear menu is the easiest way to view custom gear. I'm not at the point yet where I'm ready to assign loadouts and stuff, and this gear menu is easier than adding all the uniforms, vests, and helmets to an ammo box. And it's easier than having to deal with classnames in general. Now, if you're referring to the rolling the DAE addon into the NATO addon (on second thought, that must be what you're referring to :p), I've got the textures separated into different pbos, but it was convenient to just have all of the code in one config file since it's just a reskin addon and only involves copy and pasting lines of code. The plan was to include this in an overall NATO mod, just didn't realize how easy it'd be to do several reskins at once.
