Blitzkrieg for A3 (PvP Game Mode) (based on AAS)

From the editor you should be able to do "save to mpmissions".

Otherwise you can pack the mission folder with a pbopacker (eliteness' date=' makepbo, cpbo).

Note:

1) If you add more zones, you need to adjust settings/ZoneSetup.sqf.

It should be fairly easy to understand. Make sure to connect zones in both ways/to all your desired links.

Only synced are a bit different. The test mission has an example too though.

Be careful to not break the syntax (brackets, commas).

2) Name your mission (briefingName in the mission.sqm, or use the editor interface - intel area).

It works fine when using 3rd party packer, rather then saving the mission in the ingame editor. Thanks!

First I want to thank you for creating this game mode pvp, finding that fantastic, but I'm posting here just as a contribution of improvements since i do not possess the knowledge to fix ...

In Farmhouse.Stratis mission for 08 players, the team that would defend this as a starting attacker and defender as a striker making it impossible to take the point that the team should be the attacker (OPFOR) ...

I hope the fix to achieve this mission also create matches!! since grateful ...

Im loving this, especially hunt in the woods, Is there any way to change it to night time? Or it would be amazing if you could make a quick nighttime version of hunt in the woods for me, I would love you for ever!!!

I was playing this mission this morning and it is so much fun, reminds me of Blitzkrieg from Iron Front: Liberation 1944.

Loving this mission. We (BSC) may try switching our current Wasteland server to this for awhile, but we have one concern.

Could it be possible to get 32 man versions of all the missions? Our server currently hosts 56 on Wasteland and we'd like to keep it big for this too.

If its too much trouble can someone give me an idea on how a person would go about upping the player limits?

Changes:

  • 32v32 supported (experimental) - one 64 players mission added
  • west attacking missions fixed :o - thanks to Alcaran :)
  • team markers work (at least for players present at game start; JIP still buggy)

Incoming tomorrow:

  • team markers fully working
  • 32vs32 template
  • more missions

Mission designer can set default daytime, weather etc.

There is also random setting for these.

Hi Kju, i've got some clanmates asking whether its possible or not to disable showing enemies on the minimap when they fire, im not myself exactly sure how this "spotting" system work, is it possible that you can elaborate on this?

Are grenades not working, or is it just me? They don't seem to be throwable/selectable when I pick a class that has them equipped.

The only servers I've been able to play on with low settings and good FPS have been servers running Blitzkrieg. Plus it's an awesome game mode so this is great.

Thanks for this mission. I'm also pleased it supports low player amounts. Unlike some people, we actually prefer small player amounts like 6vs6 to 10vs10. Higher amounts of players usually means tactics go out the door and it becomes too much duckhunt shooting.

Glad to see you fixed west attacking.

I managed to get the custom UI and objectives working properly. There is something weird about the objectives, some are like overlapping each other IDK lol and some vehicles I added spawn at the forward flag with AI and blow up DAFUQ?, also I would like to know how to change the amount of class limit slots for like the Sniper, Heavy Gunner and the AT Specialist since my mission is pretty big and Ill need more slots.

Two last things, does Officer spawning actually work? It never works with me and my buddies. Also, what's up with medics?

Love this mission, had a great time playing it last night! Probably the best PvP game-type out there atm.

I think the 64 player version is too large. We don't need to use the whole map, it just makes this mission feel like Domination/Evolution.

Please make a smaller version where both teams can get to the frontline on foot in reasonable time.

Does anybody else experience short freezes in this gamemode? I can play other PVP modes fine and co-op too, but for some reason in Blitzkrieg (at least the forest version) I have like 1 or 2 second freezes every 10 seconds or so. It makes it really, really hard to play.

Nope, Must be your PC. I actually host a server everyday on my PC and I get no issues :] (US321)

Been running this on the server. Good fun with great responses. Performance not an issue.

Wish there were more 20-30p missions though.

Hey Sharpshooter, good times on HvK server with blitzkrieg running, for sure.

It'd be cool to see more people focusing on squad play with blitzkrieg's F10 function...also, Officer Respawn is working just fine, at least it was working on my friend's server, Armalive.com. Can't get grenades working on classes that have them equipped (according to the Blitz UI), though.

Armalive.com can chug along with 64 players for about an hour/hour and a half before things get squirrely. The very nature of the mod doesn't really support squad based teamplay, though unless you're playing with a group of friends among the fray. Still very fun.
