I am having a issue when hosting the mission.

When I test the mission in the editor. Everything seems to work fine.

When I upload the mission and host it off my computer using the dedicated serve work-around. Things mess up. AI don't spawn, can't capture towns. Respawns break.

Anyone have a idea or the same issues?

Hey great mission! We have been playing it mostly all night..

We have issues with the mission though, Every 30 minutes into the game roughly it just crashes, We have a headless client on the server and ACRE, Would any of these cause the crashes?

We'll keep playing. The RPT says nothing...

It could very well be something I added.

Pretty much what I have done was take the latest version that Teetime provided and incorporate it with my added scripts like BTC revive. VAS. GrenadeStop and others.

Im using the mission as a base so its the original warefare mode with price changes, the HQ is static inside and enclosed base I built.

the only changes I made to the actual mission itself were removing some towns and base positions on the map and stopping some ingame text that displays at the beginning of the mission.

Added weapons and gear to the civilian resistance in the towns.

Lastly most annoying of all is the respawn. When I started using the latest version. I left the respawns where they were because I wanted to take advantage of the "choose respawn" feature in the mission. However like I mentioned I get the issue now where I spawn on a island with the headless client civilian. Im just now remembering I may have made that headless client playable or non playable so im not sure if that is a issue.

as far as RPT. I have not looked in that file. Im actually really unfamiliar with that file but I will be taking a look.

There are currently no addons as well. Everything I am using is vanilla.

Don't believe that you can add scripts without problems. Are you sure that you don't need a mod for one of the inseted script ?

Wich script use the function addBriefing ?

For your respawn on the island : It's an issue you have with your btc revive.

change this in the btc fonction file at the player respawn function.

Hey great mission! We have been playing it mostly all night..

We have issues with the mission though, Every 30 minutes into the game roughly it just crashes, We have a headless client on the server and ACRE, Would any of these cause the crashes?

We'll keep playing. The RPT says nothing...

The mission has been never tested with ACRE. Have you made a test without ACRE and only with the HC? In such a case i would recheck the HC Functions, but for the moment i cant rember a 30 min loop that could cause a crash.

Edit: The problem with the enemy groups joining wil be fixed in next version.

Briefing is all done via the Briefing.sqf

At one point I was using the a Addon from Armaholic that was arma 3 vanilla content that is not accessible via the editor. you know like buildings, walls and such BUT when I tried hosting the mission. they were not signed so I removed the addon and found I did not need it since the materials are already in the game.

In the past I have successfully launched the server with AI working but i have problems with the town info syncing up.

Thanks for following up and the respawn tip.

I will play around with some more settings to see if I can get it to work.

Here we go. I am happy to inform you that we released the 636. It contains the first parts of my favorite Warfare function The Strategic Mode.

I think most of you havent ever heard of this Mode, so i will explain it here in short words:

I main Problem of Warfare Maps with a mobile Base ist that teams can start running arround what will lead to a never ending game. The Strategic Mode contains a very simple idea. You cant capture tows when you are unable to supply them. Means you can only capture a town if this town is linked with a street to min. 1 town your team is currently holding.

The effect ist that towns get a strategic value linked to the ammount of streets they are linked too. So look at the map and find out what town can help you to block enemy attacks easy and what town will allow you to run simultan attacks against enemy towns.

The first town your team takes is free to choose, after that follow the streets. Cities you can attack are marked orange as long as they are hold by the indipentend side. The Mode can be disabled via a new parameter.

We tried the mission without the HC and all enemies spawned perfectly (with the HC we didnt see any) But i'll recheck...

We turned off ACRE and HC and pretty much turned off and on everything and it still crashes the server after awhile of playing.. No errors in the RPT about it other then missing magazines.

I got to say though im really enjoying the time we do get to play on it.. We can get into some tense fights..

briefing.sqf from Zeus ???

If you use it, you must use @CBA addon

I dont know what Zeus is but all I did was create a file document with Notepad and then make mission info so when the player joins the server he/she will see what they have to do, rules and info.

i have some issue when the function patrol is on.

Sometimes there is no AI. Usually there is no ai on killfarm and others.

Where ther is some, they never patrol.

i suppose there is a bug in the function way point

there is some bug that you sometimes randomly get damaged or die for no reason. happend to me only on teetimes warfare. any thoughts on that?

i search for change getpos_object (town) and (veh_store) spawn AI and Vehicul it spawn on object, i want change for spawn on your marker(veh_spawn_marker)it do not used and in town for AI

ok for the ai patrol, the radiaus is too low... need a leat 250

the last way point is 0,0,xxxx so the patrol never comes back to the base.

need to replace the wp1 pos by pos of the base.

What is the win condition by the way? I've seen the HQ get blown up multiple times and it just respawns. I thought Warfare mode was 'kill enemy base to win'?

having a little trouble getting the HC to work, do i have to rename the client to one of the HC options in parameters? also, is there a version available with squad leader spawn at all?

The name of the HC must be similar with the name you choose under parameter

i'm still not 100% that it's worked correctly. one time the HC took the server slot (when checking with shift+p) but since then it is just showing the waiting in lobby hourglass. does this mean the HC is running?
