CBA - Community Base Addons - ARMA 3 Alpha

I noticed that saving a mission in the editor adds the extended eventhandlers as a dependant mod to the mission file, which is probably not intended.

A simple fix is to load the sqm into a text editor and manually removing the cba_a3_xeh dependency..

Are you running the alpha 2-3 build?

Eagerly awaiting the CBA_fncs. Now that I can't use them, I realize just how much I was depending on them in ARMA2.

Are you running the alpha 2-3 build?

Don't know the exact number. I updated via Armarize. I'll try again tonight with the latest downloadable version and report back

Updated to the latest version and now it works. I'm also using the developer build of A3 in the meantime, but I don't think that's an issue, so I guess it's fixed.

This may sound like a daft question - I have the CBA file showing as a Windows Media File. Its still shows up in Expansions OK, as does the Stance Indicator which I'm trying to get to run but nothing is happening.

Odd.

Sounds more like you have the wrong (non A3) package, best delete the CBA modfolders and grab the CBA_A3 modfolder from this thread
About this issue, I downloaded and reactivated the mod, and now everything looks and works fine, thank you for the support!

I am getting some errors with the new DEV patch and CBA_A3. They seem to be based in an A3.pbo. I cant find them in my .rpt to post them here.. Ill keep looking

Anyone else getting a

with CBA loaded?

I don't get this if vanilla, or with other mods loaded. Also tried with and without the video capture hooked, same thing.

CBA: CBA_A3_beta1.7z

A3: stable branch

*ignore the sound artifacts

EDIT: notice how the screen stays black if i mouse over the menu, blinks appear to time ~4 seconds inbetween.

Yes i have also when moving the mouse.

Symptom only affects initial start up screen, not occuring in editor, nor in a loaded mission.

Symptom remains even by disabling my frame reporter (MSI afterburner + HWiNFO)

Since this is not just me, i created a CBA ticket for this issue here.

EDIT: It is hard to tell if it is Arma 3 or CBA related, CBA might just be fine though triggering some bugged functionality in Arma 3. If it justifies a ticket should be open in Arma 3's feedback tracker too.
