10t 12 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Ok, this is probably WAY off-topic, and maybe in the wrong forum but I'll ask anyway (maybe I can justify it by saying it relates to Arma3's popularity?): Is there any chance we could see a graph of the server load in the hours leading up to, during, and ramping down from the alpha's release? I'm a sucker for graphs, and was one of the people basically DDOSing the site at release, trying to buy into the alpha. While I watched Firefox pop up the "There was a problem connecting" page for the forty-billionth time, I started wondering about the loads we were putting on the servers. So, anyone from BI keen to share proprietary, commercial information? Edited March 6, 2013 by 10T Clarify thread title as part of (single) shameless bump. 10t 12 Posted March 6, 2013 This is the one shameless bump I'll do of this thread. I'd hoped to clarify the thread title, but it appears I'm not that privileged.
nimrod123 11 Posted March 6, 2013 placebo (one of the team) said that they had added on 10x the hardware they had for TOH or carrier command, so the numbers must have been rather high (understatement much?) but they are still dealing with it so i would wait awhile and then maybe try the twitter account they have
