ineptaphid 6413 Posted July 11, 2017 "Today In History" On this day 20 years ago-10/7/1997- Bosnian war criminal Simo Drljača was killed in a British SAS capture mission at a fishing lodge with his son. Drljača was ordered to halt by the SAS troopers who had been hiding in undergrowth outside his fishing lodge, but he pulled a pistol injuring one trooper before being shot dead. In a separate operation at the exact same time in another part of the town, another SAS team apprehended war criminal Milan Kovačević (responsible for setting up concentration camps for Bosnian Muslims and Croats) . He was captured by SAS troopers in plain clothes at the hospital he was now the manager of and was quietly removed from the hospital without anyone raising an alarm.He was taken to a vehicle and driven to a waiting helicopter before being taken to the International criminal Court in the Hague.
