Object spawning in the ground

Recommended Posts

Working on some small props for example water bottle.

So it's works as intended with texture and everything, however when dropped on the floor in ArmA 2 OA it is half in the ground.

Any help would be appreciated.

get the object in the positiv Y(up) axis

everything below the 0 from the Y axis will sink into the ground.

Hmm tried the suggestions above but still no luck, the Y is above 0 in both max and oxygen an I am not quite sure how landcontact's work.

Had same problem and could not find an answer on the web so here is a work-a-round (i use blender)

before exporting your object, add a simple (tiny) polygon under your current object, equal to the high of your current object (no now the object is twice as high) so that the center of the object becomes the base of the main object (so it kinda like setting the object centre buy using its total size)
