What computing system do you have for the Arma 3 Beta?

Recommended Posts

I7 2700K at 3.9Ghz

GTX 680 4GB VRAM

80 GB SSD for Windows and Arma III

16 GB RAM

Windows 8

Which leads me to a question. Which is more powerful? The i5s or the i7s? Also will Arma even benefit from 4GB Vram?

Can't wait to see how Arma 3 is optimized. My current build is pretty slow for games like Arma II (Wastland Mod)

I've ordered components for my first new build in 5 years.

i7 3770K (Corsair H110 Water-Cooled)

Sabertooth z77

Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 1866 MHZ (CMD16GX3M2A1866C9)

Samsung 840 Pro 128gb (x2 256gb)

Corsair HX850 PSU

Corsair 650d case

Now comes the question. What is best graphics card for Arma 3 for around $500? Currently using a Geforce 275, which doesn't even have a gig or ram.

I'm assuming the more vram the better for Arma 3 and Arma 2. So should I aim for a 6gb card or a 4gb card? Physics in Arma 3 mean I should stay with Nvidia right?

Filled, nice. It would have been nice to be able to choose between a 32 and 64 version of our OS though.

I did :(

What's the point of you people putting your specs??

I would understand if you add how the alpha runs for you.

System: Windows Vista SP2, 32bit version.

CPU: Intel Core2 Duo, 3.16GHz

RAM: 4GB

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

Yes, I know this is the bare minimum. Oddly enough, it actually runs pretty well. Granted, my only run was with graphics set to low, but it was very playable. Hopefully the final will also be like that or even better, performance-wise.

Runs smoother after I put everything on max, strange but I don´t complain:cool:

Had high hopes for this game, and so far it´s even better then I hoped, and looks beyond beautyful too.
