Pretty much all of you are shitposting on last 25 pages. Stop being so naive. Try to guess M-26 terminal password for jerryhopper/melteme instead.

try this then: http://altisquest.rv4a3.org/

which is on the same rv4a3.org as: http://m26.node-42.rv4a3.org/

Hehe, rest assured guys, this is only the tip of the iceberg :pet13:

You are about to enter a world of mysterious awesomeness.

Damn how do I get in the MK-26 maintenance console again?! There has to be some interesting stuff in it

Life was better when Pure was on our side. I miss you.

---------- Post added at 04:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:24 PM ----------

Would someone care to set up a wiki page like the last ARG?

You're going through stuff we've already been through, and you're wrong. M-26 is Air Station Mike-26. WOPR is a reference to Wargames. Just read the 1st post before posting. And who cares what's in PurePassion's sig. We already know about the Persian "griffin" or whatever. How about we focus on the ARG, and by that I mean the website posted by PuFu?

What? Explain to me how we will have played the Alpha if it isn't even out yet?

That will be interesting. Want to practice? Solve the riddle on Lingor.

How can you participate?

You already are! By reading this website and carefully following clues that are revealed in this blog you are participating.

Interact with Tom or other characters and websites, in order to help Tom out. Sometimes, the answer to Toms questions can only be found if you have played the Alpha version of Arma 3, and sometimes the answers ly in cleverly linking clues revealed along the course of the ARG.

By helping Tom out, you might unlock the next step in the Altis Quest and win one of the prizes!

Tom Larkins Dad was involved in the construction of Mike26. He probaly has an Login for the console.

I tried diana/tom/josh/joshtom/tomjosh(WOPR reverence?) as a password but nothing worked.

Oh, wow, I missed that. I admit, I skimmed that paragraph. I guess they did say it would be a several month ARG.

It'd be nice if the Alpha came out this week or next, so that we could contribute "by playing the Alpha version" :P

So Pure's forum location has been changing...

First it was: Spctrm_tst=1

Now it's: Rcvr_bndwth_tst=1

I think they both have something to do with EMI or Electromagnetic interference... why?

Because of this: http://www.ieee.li/pdf/essay/receiver_v_sa.pdf

That's what I found after some googling.

Also this:

For those of you working on the console:

Also, Pure, who is obviously in on this, pointed out this post by me:

http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?146797-ArmA-3-new-ARG-Things-we-know-so-far&p=2302992&viewfull=1#post2302992

Hostname for console is Molan Lave:

But now it has changed:

Lots of brainstorming here and I haven't the faintest idea what you guys are talking about besides the fact you're trying to decypher an ArmA 3 riddle.

Colour me interested in finding out the result.

I tried the same thing, I could have sworn his dad's name was Harry though?

WRONG INFORMATION USED TO BE HERE

Edit: Just a little explanation on how to play with the console (for chrome):

Go to http://m26.node-42.rv4a3.org/, right click and select Examine element or whatever (the one at the very bottom, I don't have chrome on english right now... :D). Now switch to the source tab and click on the little hexagon with the pause logo in the middle until it turns purple. Now switch to the console tab and paste this inside right at the beginning:

$('#console').terminal("json-rpc-service-demo.php", { login: false });

Now the console doesn't require a login at the start. This enables you to use the whoami and mail methods, but most other methods need a token (which is generated from login + password) for verification.
