ArmA 3: new ARG - Things we know so far.

Recommended Posts

ODEVIL - Character bio:Intelligence agent, CIAOne of the principal HUMINT sources for operation Magnitude, long-term resident in the Mediterranean. It’s assumed the source is genuine, however, its nature is a high-level secret.note: Hubbard

Yea, it has something to do with the ARG. There's indeed a character in ArmA 3 that is in the CIA, and his name is not given, just his code name: ODEVIL.

its white. Non profetional, this isnt part of the ARG.

EDIT:

Oh nevermind, the link didn't load for me

How does that mean that it's fake? It's a twitter pic, why would BI take the effort to make it look as good as possible?

Well, this could be a troll... yet we both know no one is going to take much of your words (neither from mine), you just signed up.

ALSO, some of the twitter accounts were mad on the 19th, as far as I know, we are here not so long.

The rar-file is not a real rar-file, it looks like some kind of c++ source code:

To clear things up:

Tom Larkin is part of the ARG (Pilot?)

Randall Hubbard is part of the ARG (CIA)

Scott Miller is part of the ARG (Marine)

They all follow atleast one of each other. Atleast of what I have found.

Can't comment on the twitter profile pics however the numbers in the usernames imply a year of birth.

Being born in 1992 would tie in with the future setting?

I doubt it, he will be 42 in 2035 which is the setting, right?

Captain Scott Miller is the lead protagonist in ARMA 3. The official site describes him as follows:

CTRG // Security Team A Commanding Officer / SHAPE British national, born June 22nd 1992 in Killingworth, Northern England. Married (Kate née Greggs, 39), 1 child (Susan, 7). Enlisted into the Royal Marines in 2010, underwent Commando training following tour of duty in Afghanistan. Completed his studies and the Officer’s course in 2016. In 2021, joined Special Boat Service, becoming one of its troop commanders.

Took part in covert NATO joint operations in the Pacific Theatre, Middle East and Turkey. After recovering from a severe injury, he was transferred from active service until drafted to the newly formed Combat Technology Research Group – a small NATO taskforce established to gather the intelligence on the opposing forces’ advanced weapons technologies – in 2032. Cpt Miller commands CTRG security team A.

It most certainly does. Miller at least is born in 1992. Hubbard must be as well. I just sent a tweet to Hubbard letting him know that his callsign is compromised. I'll see if he responds.

Actually, I think he's now the lead NPC. Ben Kerry is the lead protagonist now.
