Finally - today I can bring you my first release of my Panzerfaust 3 for Arma2!

Donny's Panzerfaust 3 - a disposable Rocket Launcher

The Panzerfaust 3 is a disposable Rocket laucher which can be used with different warhead types.

The Versions included in this package are:

- Warhead DM12 - Standard Anti-tank version with hollow charge warhead:

- Warhead DM22 - Improved Anti-tank version with tandem hollow charge warhead:

- Warhead Dm32 - Designed for use against bunkers, lightly to unarmoured vehicles & soft targets

And also a nightvision version with an attached NSA-80 at the Trigger Unit.

At the moment, the Pzf3 with NV is a complete seperate weapon - i am working on a mount script to do that on the fly with needed parts for the future.

Looks amazing! If you've made any other awesome work, though, might I suggest having some kind of clearinghouse thread or website for it somewhere that you link to in your sig? I don't wanna have to dig through the entire forum to get more stuff XD

Problems/bugs: Hand animation with the weapon (holding)

The aimpoints in the optics are not correct with the fighting range.

I haven't made it to get the Handanimations working, there is something strange bug I have to sort out at first until I get them workin correctly.

The Optics need a bit practice, I know that they are not perfect but I can tell you that you have to aim a bit higher at 100m - put the cross slightly on the middle of the Turret.

It works fine at 200-300m and when you are shooting at 400m targets make sure to put the black box fitting on the target shape.

When I have sorted out the biggest issues on this weapon, I will have a look back at the optics again - because I am also not 100% satisfied with them - but more than happy that they are now working for the moment.

It is a Panzerfaust aim a bit rougher ;)

More Bugreporting and Feedback is appreciated!

Update v RC1.2

Changelog:

- Rangetable in Optics readjusted

- Changed the unloaded Model and its position on back

- added Ammunition boxes (see Readme)

great work, 'turn-off-able' NSA is wonderful!

I just noticed a little graphic glitch, an additional misplaced pipe-shadow appears as soon as you mount the Griffstück. (without Griff. only the correct shadow is visible)

(here where a link to a picture showing the issue that i could not post as my post count need to be greater than 0 for that - great way to encourage people to post bugreports...)

Not actually sure if its new in 1.2 or where there in 1.1 already or might even be related to another mod (can someone reproduce? if not buzz me for more)

PS: Some pls tell Sickboy to solve my "/@mySiyupdaterCustomRepo_Panzerfaust3/", problem :) *appreciated*

I have recognized this error by myself too, but I cant find a way to fix that.

Maybe it has something to do with the proxy of the Warhead that makes a extra shadow?

As I have made this weapon it was my very first steps in modding and 3d modelling, now I have a bit more experience and want to put that weapon to A3 in the future, but currently other projects have to be done first.

Then i want to have a new model then and will look after that shadow bug :)

Btw, I have my last and final A2 Version 1.3 - fixed two things that was a bit bad:

Update RC 1.3

- Fixed: Rockets dispersion to the left

- Add: Triggerunits are now usable as Binoculars -Handanimations are not changeable-
