Tips for creating bases

Recommended Posts

Hi, this is a problem I've always had... I'm trying to make a base in the 3D editor, but I just can't get inspiration; I don't know what to put in, how many enemies to have it be challenging but not ridiculous, what and how to place items to make it seem natural and immerse players.

does anyone have tips on making bases? references you look at, general outlines, etc?

Thanks for any help

Dynamic Compositions - BIS examples in the 1st link, spawn them all on the map, done for you or you can create your own - hours of eyewatering fun! PS the game scripts and custom scripts in the 3rd post have their limitations - they don't include positioning/spawning for AI, animals or ammo (bombs) so you need to adapt them.

I am working on an example mission for that ATM.

For inspiration look here - search images for Afghanistan:
