Crash to desktop on mission "04 The Deal" and load texture error

Hey,

I just bought this game from Steam (the bundle) and have played it a couple of hours now.

Iam trying to play the mission 04, "The Deal", it goes okay until I get to his house, then the game crashes to the desktop.

I have tried to play it three times now, the first two times I was about 100-200 meters from his house, then third time I landed by his house and got out of the helicopter and than it crashed.

I have searched the web and the forums and found nothing. I has tried different video settings and so on.

(note: the disables mods had no influence on the crash)

Btw, I also got a weird error when the game is started (in the menu):

"Cannot load texture hsim\uifonts_h\data\fonts\zeppelin33\zeppelin3334-00.paa" - I also searched the web and the forums for that and I found nothing.

I really hope somebody can help me here (the crash to desktop is most important, but the texture load error would be nice to have fixed also..(maybe thats why it crashs? I really dont know), because its a great game but useless if you cant even play the campagin/missions.. :(

Btw, I didnt have any crashes BEFORE the "The Deal" mission, everything was working fine until that mission..

have you tried verifying the integrity of the game cache?

Yes I have done that now, and there were 14 missing files, they are now downloaded and "installed".

It also helped when I changed video memory setting to "Low" in the UI

But I have completed a couple more missions now and Iam now at the end of the mission with Maggie Townsend(the one at the refuel site), it crashed (the game freeze but there were still ingame sounds, it didnt help with the "flush" command, nothing happened) again.. two times, about the same place, 6-8km from the heliport location.. I was forced to end the game in the windows task manager, nothing else I could do..

It is starting to get really annoying with all its bugs..

But maybe someone have a solution to this new kind of crash? I really hope :)

I tried about 5 times more and then I could complete the mission without a crash, and there hasent been a crash since then (actually, just completed mission 10/takedown).. It nice that it works now, but kinda weird..

Btw, forgot to tell that the texture load error dosent appear anymore, I think it helped with the verifying of game data..
