Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine

Hey,

Just reinstalled Iron Front and then the D-Day DLC.

Now I'm getting this error on startup.

.rpt seems to have a whole heap of shit as "listed twice"

Had a quick search but only found stuff relating to ArmA2 OA Beta patches etc.

Any ideas?

Did you patch the game before installing the DLC ?

Nope as that doesn't seem to want to work either.

I have the Sprocket Iron Front: Liberation 1944 PREORDER version.

And when I try to follow the update guide (this) and apply the first patch it doesn't change to 1.61.

I'm running everything as administrator.

Hi, i bought the game on Sprocket too, and patched it (with the ESD patch, for digital version) in the following order :

1.01 - 1.02

1.02 - 1.03

1.03 - 1.04

1.04 - 1.05

and all is fine. I dunno if the Sprocket version as changed since though.

Seems it might have just been a dodgy download playing up, re downloaded and things seem to be working fine.

I got the same problem,

now reinstalled Iron Front main game fourth time, but nothing works!

Bought the DLC at Gamesrocket

If Ivan and Martin made this DLC let them in the jail some more days.

Uninstall it whole again and use some registry cleaner like CCleaner for example.

Since IF wasn't developed by BIS, it is highly unlikely that Ivan and Martin were involved. And i rate this comment about wishing them staying in prison as offensive comment against BI developers.

I was able to confirm that the reason I was getting this error was installing the D-Day DLC without first patching Iron Front.

So full uninstall of Iron Front then:

1. install Iron Front

2. patch 1.0-1.01

3. patch 1.01-1.02

4. patch 1.02-1.03

5. patch 1.03-1.04

6. patch 1.04-1.05

7. install D-Day DLC

Worked for me, hope it works for others.
