Need some help with editing very simple

Hello today I made a simple TDM mission on Chernarus for me and a few friend to play and I cant figure out how to disable 3rd person and still have the 3D crosshairs enabled? I know you can change the difficulty to disable 3rd person but it also disables the crosshairs.

In the difficulty settings, you can edit each difficulty setting and choose to turn various features on and off individually. 3rd person view is one of those settings.

I can't find that setting.

The settings are there. In any case, if you're at your wits end, you could use tophes ta2dst dedicated server tool. It automatically takes care of any config files you would other wise have to setup manually. You can choose what server settings you like for any given difficulty. ie; no crosshairs / 3rd person etc. You just have to point the tool to one of your dedicated arma2Server.exes. You have 2 dedicated server.exes located in your arma directory. One for arma2 and the other for arma2oa.
