Black Shadow around models and Windows 8 DLCs?

Got two questions here :)

1) I'm seeing dark "Shadows" around all objects in-game. I'd post a SS but I'm at work. Seems like objects are glowing but instead of glowing light they're glowing black, is this a graphics option somewhere?? :confused:

2) Do we have a work-around for installing the DLC's on Windows 8 yet? I bought 'em all but can't install them :(

I had the dark shadows appear when I had Ambient Occlusion turned on in my Nvidia control panel. Might be worth checking out if you have Nvidia.

Can't help with Win 8 I'm afraid.

Morning.

To install the DLC packs on Windows 8, run the installer until you receive an error message. Press OK and locate one of the following directories:

C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Temp\ACR

C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Temp\BAF

C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Temp\PMC

Once you have located the corresponding directory to the DLC you are trying to install, right click setup.exe > Compatability Tab > Trick the "Run this program as administrator" checkbox. Do the same for ReactorActivate.exe if it is present in the same directory.
