Weapon recoil

Hi Guys,

I own Arma Operation Arrowhead and I never updated past 1.52 because I never wanted the new recoil system. Then it dawned on me the other day that Iron Front may be using the same recoil system and I haven't even noticed it over the past few months, so maybe I should update it.

I figured a few people on the forum will have both games and be able to tell me if Iron front uses the same recoil system as the current version of OA ?

You won't notice that in IFL44 anyway since there are no full auto weapons exept submachine guns with very low recoil and Machineguns that can only be fired effectively with deployed bipod.

As far as I know, new recoil system was in OA from the very beginning. But honestly, if you haven`t installed 1.60 - you playing another game.

And yes, IF has the same features, as OA 1.62 including recoil. The difference is that in IF recoil depend on level of complexity.

Nope. It came in a post 1.52 (North American release version) beta. I remember it very well because people were bitchin and whining about how heavy the recoil was. It was later toned down before being officially put in.

There's one difference. In IF recoil level depends of choosen difficulty level.
