Graphics: LOD

Hello everyone,

is there any possibility to increase graphics LOD? I mean...when I am flying in Manta close to the ground and see mainly the grass appearing in front of me. It is quite annoying. I would like to improve this by increasing LOD distance. Or maybe only LOD of the grass distance.

It would be great to have an option in the graphics settings.

Or I would accepted to change it manually somewhere in config file.

Hello,

No, there is not such possibility (yet). There is steep geometric progression of consumption over distance, both memory-wise and performance-wise, so every meter will cost more and more.

We can enlarge the maximum distance at least a little bit.

The latest patch has a few more levels of grass detail so you can enlarge distance where is grass rendered.
