Server Joining problem

Hello,

i have just recently bought arma 2 and i have been having problems joining any multiplayer servers. i click on the server, and the mission files download then it takes me to the loading screen andafter loading half way it brings me back to the server list. please help asap thank you

Hello and welcome to BIS forums.

Please locate your RPT for the game and post it, RPT is a log file that the game generates and will list any errors or issues, or anything going on with your game.

It can be found here:

ARMA 2

The arma2.rpt, located in your -profiles root directory, or if used without this parameter then it can be found in these default locations:

WINDOWS XP: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2

WINDOWS VISTA / 7: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\ArmA 2

how do i post the file?

Go into advanced part when you are going to reply, and basically just copy n paste your rpt in reply, and then highlight it,

then hit the # icon which will put the post into a code format, or use the spoiler format.

Again or if you want, take the RPT put it into a zip file and then upload it to a host, I personally use Dropbox on occasion, once hosted then post a link.

RPT opens with notepad or wordpad.
