eagledude4 3 Posted September 1, 2012 I, like many other modelers here, use sketchup to create building addons for Arma2. What I want to know is, what is the scale of the player model in sketchup? Once I know the height of a person, I can appropriately scale my objects.
ProfTournesol 952 Posted September 1, 2012 Well, you can resize the model afterwards in O2.
eagledude4 3 Posted September 1, 2012 Well, you can resize the model afterwards in O2. Resize it to what? How am I supposed to know if it needs to be bigger or smaller? Other than seeing if the grid is large or small compared to my model?

I don't know the Sketchup answer, but in O2 you can create a 1m x 1m x 2m high box and reference that as a unit height.

PuFu 4303 Posted September 1, 2012 1. O2 uses meters as measurment units. Have sketchup set to use meters as well. The default units should be inches. 2. Make sure on Obj export you are preserving units 3. The characters in A2 are 1.8m heigh.
