eagledude4 3 Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) My sketchup model has 3 materials, but when I export the model to .3ds, the export window says 4 materials were exported. When I try and import the .3ds model to oxygen, there's a fourth texture called ForeGrou in the convert texture window. This missing non-existing texture is preventing me from loading my model in game or viewing my model in bulldozer. PuFu 4303 Posted August 29, 2012 have you tried exporting to .OBJ file as well. You might also be using a texture from sketch-up library (wild guess here).
eagledude4 3 Posted August 30, 2012 (edited) All 3 materials are from the sketchup material library. See screenshots I just posted. When I try to export to obj, I get an error about having too many verticies on face, even though all poly's are 3 or 4 vert poly's. [aps]gnat 23 Posted September 1, 2012 Well, the import too would mention the error if it wasn't true. Try breaking the model into bits before importing. This will help identify which part of the model contains the problem. Then fix it before doing the final all-bits import.
