cargo shadow not working

I have a problem with almost every model i make , the shadow on the cargo area never works , it always uses the first shadow lod of the exterior

any help? the only named property i have in the view cargo and view cargo shadow is lodnoshadow = 1 and the other one autocenter=0

any suggestions?

as far as i've been able to tell its a game bug. Can't get it to work no matter what and all bis vehicles seem to be suffering from this too. I seem to also remember a CIT ticket about this but havnt been able to find it.

ahhhh i guess i'll have to use a config to make it look like shadow , thnx for the reply

If you have already made your cargo shadow LOD, you can copy it to a different p3d. In that p3d, have a blank LOD 0, and put your your cargo shadow LOD in Shadow LOD 0. Then, in your viewCargo LOD in your original p3d, point a proxy object to your new p3d. The shadow volume will then show, but only when you're in the cargo space.
