Tactical_Fail 10 Posted August 16, 2012 I have regular old Arma 2 version 1.11.36734. I'm playing the campaign mission Badlands. Got most of the way through it, saving regularly as always. Quit before conquering the last village. Few hours later tried to load it and the loading crashes to desktop with the error "Cannot Load" then the save filename. Nothing changed between the last save time and the load time - no updates on the game, no windows updates, not really any activity at all on this pc. The game has been the same version throughout the campaign. Tried moving some of the save games out of the folder and each individual save produces the same error. It's strange that all of the saves would be corrupt isn't it? Or is it possible that there was some kind of corruption early in the mission and it was somehow 'passed on' to all subsequent saves on the same mission? Guess Who 10 Posted August 17, 2012 Sometimes the saves are not corrupted at all. Warfare puts a lot of strain on the hardware and sometimes acts strangely. Try to exit Arma and reboot your machine then start Arma and try to load your savegame. If Arma reports corruption go with the procedure to remove one save after the other. If that doesn't help you don't have a choice but restarting the mission.

I already restarted that mission anyway and it didn't happen again the second time, although I can tell it does strain the system with so much going on.
