zorilya 0 Posted August 14, 2012 hi there, wanting to stick some life into a mission i made, i place the ambient civilian module in zargabad. I placed a trigger called civarea and set the townlist variable to the trigger. i also turned debug on so i could seee what was happening , when it was happening. I hit preview and got an error dumped in my RTP Error in expression <ss = _populationClasses select _i; if (_class != "") then { _door = _doorlist > Error position: <_class != "") then { _door = _doorlist > Error Undefined variable in expression: _class it said. i couldn't think why so i tried it on another map to be sure it wasn't just me being silly..... but it works fine on chernarus. also the debug pops up witht the town areas and the black lines so it knows where the towns are which i guess is nice. any thoughts folks? also i apologise for the terrible typo in the title... thebarricade 7 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Are you using the "Ambient Civilians" or "Ambient Civilians (expansion)" module? (Oh, and this should probably be moved to the mission editing sub-forum) Edited August 15, 2012 by thebarricade
zorilya 0 Posted August 15, 2012 using the ambient civ module... thought i'd try and get that working first.
Beagle 684 Posted August 16, 2012 using the ambient civ module... thought i'd try and get that working first. On OA maps only the Expansion modules works properly. The old A.L.I.C.E module is for Chernarus and Utes. Civies spawn on special nodes in specific buidlings that are misisng if you cross use the modules on the wrong map.
