Taylor422 1 Posted August 2, 2012 Good evening, everyone. I'm a new player to ArmA and I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I first heard of ArmA not too long ago when the Day Z mod was being hyped up. I was able to purchase ArmA 2: Combined Operations off of Steam for $18 during their summer sale. I had played Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising previously and had not been impressed, so I was a little weary. I've progressed as far as completing " Manhattan " and so far I have to say I'm enjoying myself. The game is definitely a little buggy, and it takes some serious dedication (and forum search skills!) to get through, but I believe it's worth it. I read a post hear describing it as such: " she's a cruel mistress, it's like she hits you but you can't stay away ". I find that particularly telling. Anyhow, I just wanted to stop by and give a big thank you to the forum posters who have left answers in the past, without which, I likely never would have completed mission " Razor Team ". I look forward to multiplayer after I complete the campaign (I like the milsim/"tacticool" aspect), and I hope someone out there is willing to take pity on the new guy and teach me a thing or two.
