NacroxNicke 11 Posted July 8, 2012 Well, a short question: How difficult is to revert back from llauma heads to ofp vanilla heads? Thanks in advance
stgn 39 Posted July 8, 2012 It could be as easy as open mode,l delete Ilauma head, paste BIS head, save model, tjeck config to see if correct textures are mentioned, I think(might have forgotten something). STGN
NacroxNicke 11 Posted July 8, 2012 So there is no need of rigging bones or something like that?
stgn 39 Posted July 9, 2012 IF you got the head of a BIS mlod model then no, if you got it of odol model then you should tjeck the osobnost selection which makes sure you have different faces. STGN
Macser_old 0 Posted July 9, 2012 (edited) Everything STGN stated. You can grab the head off one of the demo models that were released centuries ago. Or the model assets Sanctuary provided in his modders resource packs. As ST says, if you use mlods it can be a simple case of copy paste.Odols converted to Mlods, via OdolEx are best avoided. NacroxNicke 11 Posted July 10, 2012 Well, thanks, I will try to do something about it, starting with learning blender =P
max power 21 Posted July 10, 2012 You'll be wanting to use O2, BIS's community tools.
Macser_old 0 Posted July 10, 2012 Yes.If all you want to do is copy/paste some geometry around, then O2 would be simpler. Although,if you want more flexibility and features,Blender is preferable. Advanced unwrapping.Rigging to paint weights and the ability to test them in real-time.Poly reduction that retains not only uv co-ordinates,but weights too. Not to mention the ability to paint directly onto the model. 2.49b being the preferred version for OFP,because of the export/import/tool scripts. It's certainly not a perfect application. But it is very powerful. :)
