CaptJere 1 Posted June 22, 2012 Arma 2/Arma 2 OA Recruitment The Ashes - Apocalyptic Gaming group needs you! Annoyed when no one will stack up with you to clear a building? Are you tired of being bombed by incorrect airstrikes or CAS?* Do you despair at the lack of teamwork or sportsmanship on public servers? Then you might be in luck. Ashes are actively recruiting (relatively) mature members to our Arma 2 Cohort and we would like to invite players of all skill levels to join us. Who are we? Ashes are a multiple game based community with members on nearly every continent. We are spread across multiple time zones but the bulk of our player base in the EU. Founded in 2007 from a previous incarnation of the Clan, we've been playing game genres ranging from MMO's, FPS and Virtual world simulators like Second Life. Through out of this, we've strived to maintain a high level of teamwork and sportsmanship, all the while balancing this with fun across all the games we play. At present we are purely focusing on the mechanised infantry elements of Arma including small squad based gameplay and the associated vehicle and weapon systems that support this. We don’t spend our time making you stand in line saluting or run up and down the road practising formations because frankly, we don’t want to bore you. We believe that only through playing together regularly, the foundations of camaraderie and teamwork will be built. What can we provide? Forum and Mumble server located at - www.asheshq.com Co-op and PVP based missions, with scenarios being created by inhouse mission editors. Multiple mods and game types are played including Domination, Patrols and DayZ (ACE is also often used). An active, welcoming community of around 300 members Strong online media coverage of game nights What are we looking for? Keen participants of all skill levels who are willing to join us on our adventures through the Arma universe and beyond! Participants should have access to a microphone, though if not, at least be on Mumble to increase squad cohesion and listen to commands. Interested in applying?
