ARMA 2: OA beta build 93965 (1.60 MP compatible build, post 1.60 release)

Awesome!

AToC and PPAA is nice but we still need the option to disable the blur. Oktane is providing us with his okt_noblurbeta.pbo since about 2 years now...still no official option from BIS. And I mean the option to disable ONLY the blur not the other effects too.

Any chance to see this coming BIS?

+1 on separate blur options.

EDIT: Can someone please remove the username\password so we can download.

i probably wont get this patch, unless they take off the pass and user name thing, it keeps crashing my browsers

I'm also encountering a username and password being required to download the latest...and well, looks like any of the patches on the patch page. Any solution? can't find one...

edit: It's working now! guess they had to remove the login requirement hah

I think their server is reaching it's max user count (DayZ users?).

If you keep retrying you can download it

Probably because beta patches are on a ftp server and due to high demand it reached its max anonymous users, that's why you are getting the password prompt.

Try again later, eventually you will get in.

Absolutely. So many users are running OA with PP set at Very Low or even Disabled simply because of this...

It's so bad that I don't install a beta until Oktane has released his patch, which incidentally he hasn't done yet for build 93965:

It's not so much the motion blur but the depth of field that keeps me from using PP settings beyond "low". I may be old, but my eyesight ain't that bad ... :butbut:

I would like to be able to set ALL PP settings at least in the .cfg file seperatly. Especially SSAO and Blur.

Motion blur isn't my main gripe in Post Processing but it is one... The worst thing is the Depth of Field, it's just horrible so I (And many others) just turn off Post Processing.

Deleted old user.cfg and ArmAOA.cfg but no change.

Man read the entire topic. It's there about 5 times. Developers said It will be in upcoming 1.61 RC. Because language files have to be updated.

Yeah object view distance slider is long overdue (wasn't there a post saying you will consider it after Take On?). Also how about those lighting improvements that you were testing with Chernarus?

I could never understand why game developers insist on adding blur and bloom to their games. The first thing most gamers do is switch or hack them off. ;)
