Barry1039 10 Posted June 14, 2012 Hello folks, I suppose it would be best to keep this short, so here is my problem!: BACKGROUND: I've been playing the free version of ARMA II for the past two weeks, I loved it and so today I uninstalled ARMA II Free, purchased CO, PMC and BAF and installed them (Using Steam). Now, I can play CO just fine; join any server and have a blast! My problem seems to only occur in ARMA II (No expansions, just vanilla ARMA II). PROBLEM: I attempt to join any server in (Vanilla) ARMA II, it loads, receives mission data, and I select my role. However, upon selecting my role and clicking "OK", I am almost immediately sent back to the server browser, which oddly enough shows a very high ping on all listed servers for about 5 seconds and then returns to normal. I know I should be able to play on these servers, as they're servers I enjoyed playing on with the free version. Any help would be appreciated! Things I have tried (Answers I found via Google searches): - Restarted computer - Restarted ARMA II - Restarted Steam, running it as administrator - Created a new solider / profile - Reinstalled BattleEye - Checked to be sure my version of ARMA II matched the servers (Version 1.11)

Barry1039 10 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) The .rpt seems to be quite a mouthful, like a 212,000 word mouthful. I can't seem to copy / paste it onto here, as I think it breaks some sort of character limit.. But, after attempting to join a server and getting the same error, it looks like this is the only addition to the .rpt file: "############################# co40_Domination_2_60zc_ARPS_West_A2 #############################" [2387,86.58,0,"Executing Dom init.sqf"] [2387,86.76,0,"Executing Dom d_init.sqf"] [2387,90.801,0,"Dom d_init.sqf processed"] [2400,95.771,0,"Dom init.sqf processed"] EDIT: Forgot about pastebin sites, just uploaded it here: http://tinypaste.com/03e0d839 Edited June 14, 2012 by Barry1039 Full .rpt
Barry1039 10 Posted June 14, 2012 SOLVED: Figured out the problem, had to right click on ARMA II in my Steam library > Properties > Local files tab >Verify integrity of game cache. One file was corrupt / broken and needed replacing. I had done this with the free version of the game and forgotten to do it once I installed the full version.
