Full price game with arma2 vanilla effects ?

Recommended Posts

sorry for the grip But I can not see it,why it got such talented modders not indicate to reworked the old arma2 effects.

The dust clouds from rifle shot impacts, tanks and other guns is the same like arma2 vanilla ,explosion effects from grenades,He-ammo and artillery is the same like arma2 vanilla ...but WHY ? for a new full price Game!? because I think you can expect more.

-more mud and Dirt sprites for explosion and impacts

-reworked this terrible grey smoke clouds (original from Arma2)

Sorry for this post but i can not see more the old arma2 effects ,by the way were overhauled three years ago:j:

what do you think?

Hello there

Some FX are the same, some are very different.

Its not however a full price game, and for me is the equivalent of a DLC.

If you step back and look at what actually had been changed/added, its a vast amount indeed.

I guess "full price" is getting quite relative in PC gaming. It launched for 29.90 Euro digitally, full price games seems to launch 39.90 Euro digitally, many 49.90 Euro and some "oh so great games" 59.90 Euro.

That said, not being for recycling of a lot of assets from Arma 2, this game probably never could see light of the day as cost of making it all from scratch would be ways above what any publisher or developer could ever put into today's PC only title that is somewhat different, hard core in it nature.

Ok Sorry Guys Maybe I'm wrong or put the wrong headline was chosen, has not it's about who pays what here,or how to make a full price game defined, its a DLC or full price? whatever ...i ´ve payed for the disk version 39,95€ in Saturn market in Germany.

I can simply too much to discover parallel at Arma2 ,especially as regards the effects. Sorry but i cant believe it for this extensive game.would simply have to be there more to it that it.The effects are just plain boring and not just contemporary.(throw a hand grenade and see what i mean :j: )

Regards

I really don't see how it can be wrong for a game using a licensed ArmAII engine to look like ArmAII, sorry boys but that is exactly what I had exspected. Box prices was 34.99€ at a Müller market.

Sure if you like throwing money away, our official policy on keys bought from CD Key resellers is very clear: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?93566-Did-you-buy-your-ArmA2-key-from-a-CD-Key-reseller

People who buy keys from CD Key resellers will 1. not be supported in any way by ourselves if they run into problems 2. will more than likely find the key is disabled online due to fraudulent practices by the CD Key resellers.

40€?? Sry, but thats a fail. Brought for 27€ in steam at release date. It costs 30€. Ofcourse 49€ would be to much, but 27€ for a game with complete new setting, which is fun to play, and reminds me on arma 2 alot, nothing over payed i say.
