Addetter 10 Posted June 4, 2012 The 12th Panzer Division is a Laid back tactical Realism Unit for Iron Front: Liberation 1944. We in no way support Nazi's or their beliefs, we are a virtual re-enactment group. We use historical pictures, as well as insignias and icons, including the Swastika, Nazi Flag, and Iron Cross. We in no way are apart of a racist group, or "neo-nazis". We hope that you can understand this, we do not intend to offend anyone. All use is for historical purposes. The 12th Panzer Division was started on May 23rd, 2012 by Feldwebel Thibeau and Oberleutnant Brogie. We are a laid back Realism Unit for Iron Front, and love playing Iron Front as a mature tactical group. We include all fundamentals of the actual 12th Panzer Division, such as Aviation (4th Luftflotte), Armor (1st Panzerwuffe), and Infantry (Panzer-Grenadier Regiment 5), as well as proper German Heer ranks. We welcome any people into our Teamspeak, and even have a special Gruppen dedicated to Europeans. Looks let's clear this up once and for all, to keep things simple, in World War 2 as we all know there was a lot of bad stuff done by a lot of bad people, on various sides, not just the "evil Nazisâ„¢", we've spent the past 70 years dwelling on that stuff and hopefully learned lessons from that stuff, however this is a game, Units for this game are simply a group of gamers, everyone has to pick some side to take, some Unit name to use, sometimes those will be Units that have only done good stuff (or at least only ever get press for the good stuff), some will be Units that did some bad stuff as well as good, some will be Units that did a lot of bad stuff, fact is as I said this is a game, these are gaming forums, the people using these forums are gamers, that is how we will address the Units, how we will address each other. We won't make hollow, shallow, pointless accusations and comments of insensitivity and disrespect, we will take the people in our community on face value and offer them respect and the hand of friendship, if they then turn around and do or say something that doesn't warrant our respect, then sure that demands a closer look at their true actions and beliefs, but then and only then is it right to draw our attention to a potential issue.
