Downloading & installing Arma 2 combination pack

Hi,

So as the title says really how do i download the game and install it. I see the links to a program called sprocket which flags up as being harmful. I donwloaded it and then it just sits there connecting ( that doesnt work).

Ok so i tried to download of the US mirror thing on the next page. Downloaded setup.exe run and then it said something about bin.01 missing. Do i download a bin file to.

Actually even better is there a bloody step by step guide on downloading and installing the game. Ive just paid £20 for this or should i of just bought off Steam?

There should be more files to download where you downloaded setup.exe, that is why the install fails.

Named like Setup01.bin,Setup02.bin,Setup03.bin,... with a prefix in front, possible 8 or 9 files (not sure).

Download them all and retry installing.

Thanks for the reply i was starting to think i may need to install all of the bin numbers. So this will solve the problem?

and do i put them in one folder and then run setup.exe?

This will solve it, at the moment you haven't yet downloaded the whole game.

I don't have Arma2OA from Sprocket but for comparison, Take On Helicopters from Sprocket is 9 files. Take_On_Helicopters_Setup.exe and 8 Take_On_Helicopters_Setup<01-08>.bin files.

Put them all in one folder and run setup. Keep the installation files for future use.
