Hello, is it possible play the addon of Waffen SS without the censura on the insignias?

I mean if is it possible to have visible the SS runes on collar tabs, the swatika under the eagle, etc ..?

I have worked the textures, and now I have them without censura, there is one interested to make an addon for the countries that have not laws of censura on nazi historical insignias?

I can send by email the worked textures.

Does anyone know what mods made for IF work for the ArmA II conversion? I believe the sound mod does, not sure what else.

Why do you ask here, ask on IF Fan forums, since I host them all on the MR, but they should all work granted they aren't doing the same things as whats already in IF.

The only one is Finland 1944 see the bottom of the list on my site http://www.missionrepository.com/texture-packs-6

but its a texture pack, no vehicles have been built for the conversion.

But Click on the link for more info and it will take you to the threads on the IF Fan forums and it has screenshots and more info.

As an IFR development team member and tester, I've been playing with IFEM (Iron Front Expansion Mod, screenshots below) inside AA2 for months, it's about 95% finished but its creator T_Roc vanished 9 months ago so it's on hold til he comes back because it can't be released to the general public without his permission.

(Personally I'd regard it as abandonware and release it, but I'm not in charge of the project)

Anybody know where T_Roc is? Tell him to come back, we need him, for example the Russki tanks look kinda naked without cool red stars..:)

You guys could try making some of the models yourselves since you haven't heard from T_Roc for a while. The IFR team has enough talent between them to make some of them I think.

@PooroldSpike stop bringing IFEM subject up, this is not the thread for it, people do not need to know about the mod because it will never be released your only teasing people with it,

T_Roc again for the 20th time probably will not return, if he does then it will be a miracle, want the mod to release then get a hold of him.

Also the team is practically dead, if theres anything to discuss about the team and any projects then use the IF Fan forums. Stay on topic here.

Oops sorry mate, it's just that I saw you'd posted an M10 pic from the IFEM mod in the open forum here-

http://ironfront.forumchitchat.com/post/ifriron-front-revival-mod-projects-6253251?highlight=m10&trail=495

so I assumed you weren't keeping the mod a secret any more and that we were free to talk about it..;)

T_Roc was discovered to have been stealing models from a shitload of other games, was he not? I'd steer far away from anything involving him if I were you...

I'm pretty sure he had contributed a shitload of content to 31st Normandy many years back. It was later found out that most if not all of "his" work was ripped from other games, and is the reason 31st Normandy was set back quite a ways.

That was from November last year before we released anything for IFR, or the conversion.

Stealing? i dont think so, maybe used models and such from others for his own personal mod, as the story goes he built his own my for himself, giving it a gift to a "friend" whom

was told it was just for him, ignoring this this friend released it and folks recognized some of the models and T_Roc got shit for it.

If there is any more to discuss on this then send me a pm, but dont, i dont want to hear it anymore, so stop bringing it up.

leave this thread for requesting only.

I'm talking about several years ago now. T_Roc was a part of the 31st Normandy mod. He was "making" tanks etc. for that mod specifically. They didn't know it was stolen work til they got a lawsuit or several, if my finicky brain is working properly. Hell, I could have sworn he got banned from the BI forums...

I can't mod for toffee but over the years I've posted many wargame tutorials, screenshots, military history photos and articles all over the net.

Sometimes people "borrow" something of mine without asking my permission but I don't mind at all because they're not out to make money from it; in fact I'm glad it's being got out there to the entire community!

I should imagine the same applies to modding, I can't understand why modders get uptight if somebody "borrows" their work.

The only time me and them should get annoyed is if somebody tries to SELL our stuff, (which has never happened to my knowledge) in which case we should demand our cut.

Beats me why people take computer games so seriously anyway..;)

Its because modders and addon makers spend countless hours on making something, alot of us enjoy making the addons. We don't do it get paid, we just enjoy doing it. And if for someone to borrow the addon and release as there own, well thats just wrong on so many levels.

If you would like clarification on what addon makers feel perhaps look at the community group that has created some guidelines.

Hey Darkhorse thanks for your useful PM about mod copyright and stuff, I tried answering it but couldn't send it because I got an auto-message saying your stored PM quota is full.

Basically I was just wondering why T_Roc abandoned working on his superb models (screenshotted on page 6 of this thread), and vanished in July 2013, because as far as I know they're all his own work and nobody ever claimed otherwise.

Request threads are nothing more then "see how many things you can name" lists.

PoorOldSpike see if you can use the Abandoned property law system to claim it.

Same incident as I recall. Something about re-skinning a tank and showing off screens shots as his and an old Inv44 modder (no names) called him out on it. I was actually helping him test this "tank pack" back then and he disappeared when this happened as well. he had some awesome skinned Tigers and Panthers all models.

Funny, looking at the pics Old Spike released look exactly like the old OFP models I was testing at the time.

What happened if someone bought models and gave them to the IFR team to rework into the game? Would that break any laws?

Didn't LIb Mod have other tanks they showed off on the forums before they became Iron Front? Could we not ask them for those models to use?

Anyways...Back on topic, any ISU or lend lease tanks would be nice.
