soundblaster 12 Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) Combat Realism Patrol Operation is a dynamic, random mission series. The great features such as "Enemy force scale on connected players" keep the game challenging. We tried to make people force to keep alert and focused, if not they could get punished by a possible airstrike from a SU-25 and a L-39 or even get struck by a side road IED. There is a large scale of arsenal in the HQ but for some you need to retrieve points to rank up. There all all kinds of missions, retrieve a lost radio tower, destroy a enemy SCUD or maybe even capture a town, we tried to keep as many kinds of mission types in the server. Decision is a important factor in this game, do you prefer to bomb a city where there is possible innocent civilians or do you prefer to sneak up to the enemy and kill them one by one, it's all possible! We make use of a slightly modified version of the "ASR AI Addons" to make the enemy troops act more humanly and also more as a team. We make use of the "F2F Air Loadout Selector System" that means that people got the option to select what they want to equip in their air vehicles. We make use of the "BTK Cargo Drop" to make transporting more realistic for example the C-130 Hercules can carry heavy vehicles and the Chinook more lighter ones. There are side road IED and they can be small like a trashbag (the effect will be small too) or they can be as big as a wrecked BMP, they are on the side of the roads always and sometimes you got possible infantry near it to ambush you(these are randomly generated). Enemy radar towers, these give the enemy just like with humans more information about the enemy location they usually get randomly generated on top of hills, they can call in air support for a possible airstrike, the radio tower is destructible and you will also get a reward for it. (these are randomly generated). Living environment, we tried to make ArmA more alive by adding randomly generated civilian vehicles which are usable, there are also civilians walking around living in hamlets, towns and even cities, there aren't a lot of them just a few, one day in ArmA equals 6 hours in real life, we did this because we wanted players to have more kinds of environmental experience in a way that they play in night and as well as day and last but not least we've added mosques praying 5 times a day, this is a really new feature we just added it is 3D sound so how further away you are how more delayed the audio is and also more quiet and you can hear them in most cities and towns(an example video: .There is also Acre on the server because we tried to keep the realism in VOIP, we got a Teamspeak server for this. @ACE @ACEX @ACEX_SM @ACRE @CBA @CBA_OA @JayArma2Lib You can download all these mods trough Six updater: http://www.six-updater.net/p/download.html also here is a small tutorial for the ones who don't know how to do it: We would like to thank EightySix for making Patrol Operation, sxp2high BTK for making Cargo Drop, SkyNet for making F2F Air Loadout Selector System and Robalo_AS for making ASR AI Addons allowing us to modify it and we would like to give them all the credits.
